The selection of material depends on the location and conditions of the placement of the vineyard. From where in the distance from home, and what functionality you want to give it. After all, it can be adapted for the cultivation of varietal grapes, which will give the arch the function of a vineyard, and for the cultivation of decorative grapes, which gives it and, accordingly, the entire summer cottage an exceptionally aesthetic appearance with a shading function.

The arch for grapes should be installed in a well-lit place

The size of the arch depends on the choice of the place for the arch. But under any circumstances, the height of the arch should be at least one meter higher than the average height of a person. And not to violate the general composition of the site, the center of which is the house. The arch should not be too high if it is located near the house. If the purpose of erecting an arch is to create a shadow for the house, then a semi-arch, fixed with one side to the wall or roof of the house, is also suitable for this. In all other respects, one must proceed from the expediency of using the arch for a particular place, guided by appropriate considerations.

The arch can be made:

  • from wooden beams and planks;
  • of plastic pipes;
  • from metal rods and metal pipes;
  • from metal structures, provided that a welding machine is used.

You can make from ordinary wood original arches for grapes

It is from the choice of a site for an arch for grapes that its dimensions will also depend. The height of the structure should be 1 m higher than the average height of a person. And also she must not violate general form the entire plot in the country. It is not necessary to make the arch very high if it is centered around the house.

If the creation of a structure involves shading the house, then a semi-arch is suitable for these purposes. It will be fixed with one side to the roof of the building. The choice of the remaining parameters for an arch installed in one place or another is carried out in accordance with one's own wishes.

To make an arch to a vineyard, you can use metal, wood and plastic. Each of the materials presented have their own performance characteristics.

Every gardener knows what amazing taste qualities grapes have. But grapes are not only bunches of juicy and aromatic berries, but also an excellent option for decorative decoration. personal plot... The vine fruit crop It is widely used to decorate fences, walls of houses, gazebos, columns and, of course, arches.

The grapes on the arch lends garden plot special charm. In addition to aesthetic appeal, arches under grapes serve as a kind of recreation area. Here you can grow plants that are afraid of direct sun rays, or arrange a small recreation area.

Before proceeding with the selection of materials and arrangement of the frame, it is necessary to designate the place where the do-it-yourself arch for grapes will be installed. The dimensions of the future structure depend on the intended purpose. So, if you plan using this architectural form landscape design to shade the house, it is better to give preference to a semi-arch, one of the sides of which is fixed to the porch of the building.

As experts in the field of landscape design of personal plots note, the height of the structure should be 1 m higher than the height of a person.

When choosing a place and thinking over the design of the future composition, it is necessary to adhere to the harmony and unity of style with the rest of the buildings of the area. The frame for the grapes must organically fit into the composition of the infield.

Wooden beams

After assembling the arch, wooden beams must be treated with an antiseptic, covered with wood stain and moisture-resistant varnish. Wooden basethat will contact the ground requires extra attention. According to the recommendations of experienced gardeners, in order to avoid wood rotting, the beams of the arch must be tightly wrapped with roofing material and secured with wire.

Plastic pipes

The arch for grapes made of plastic pipes is very popular among gardeners. This design is notable for the lightness and strength of the material, and also does not rot and corrode.

So that during the assembly process of the structure there are no problems at the joints, all pipes must be of the same diameter. It is recommended to carefully think over and draw up a drawing of the planned structure in advance. When deepening the arch into the ground, the base pipes should be strengthened and concreted.

However, it must be said about the disadvantages of this material: the construction of plastic pipes is not suitable for growing high-yielding varieties grapes, since under the weight of the bunches the arch will begin to deform over time.

Many gardeners are wondering whether it is possible to make an arch for a vine from rebar and metal pipes with an anti-corrosion coating. The metal arch for grapes has many advantages, among which it is worth noting strength, reliability, high wear resistance and structural stability.

In order for do-it-yourself metal grape arches to serve for many years, you need to carefully consider the drawing of the frame. For work you will need welding machine or bolts that are inserted into holes drilled in metal pipes.

Please note that such designs are not lightweight. For this reason, try not to complicate the arch with unnecessary elements and carefully work on deepening the base of the frame.

If you want to make an arch for grapes that will last for decades, it is better to give preference to assembled metal structures. For the construction of a metal frame, you cannot do without a welding machine. In the process of work, you can use metal pipes of various lengths, channels, thin rods, from which it will turn out to design an original top in the form of lamps, lanterns or flower pots.

Arch from plastic for wickets

Installation and design of the arch structure

After all the components are securely fixed between themselves, it remains to install the plastic structure in the ground. This is an equally important stage and must be taken seriously. Otherwise, the installed arch may simply fall off at the first gust of wind.

The bent arch should be installed in pits 30 cm deep, then covered with earth and tamped securely. The distance between the edges can be arbitrary, and the height should not impede free passage.

Stylish decoration garden

The fundamental rule for creating an arched opening as part of a unique landscape is its competent and harmonious weaving into the structure of the surrounding nature. Therefore, the arch must match the overall design of the garden. So, a monumental opening will look ridiculous against the background of a small house or in the middle of a plot with an area of \u200b\u200b6-7 acres.

As an additional decoration, you can and should use climbing evergreens and climbing roses. They will help add volume. It is not worth planting the first plants that come across - it is important to take into account the individual characteristics of the culture and the local climate so that the arch looks attractive in any season.

DIY plastic pipe garden arch: types and features of construction

Arched structure for the garden

  • Varieties
  • PVC pipe arch
  • How to weld elements?

A garden arch is a structure that consists of upper, horizontal beams and vertical posts.

It is installed as a decorative element that will add splendor and charm to the site, or it can serve as a support for cultivated plants.

In any case, such a construction will delight the eye and at the same time serve as an excellent decoration for the landscape, such a highlight, making it refined, special, not like its neighbors.

Varieties

There are many different types arches. They can be made of metal, stone, wood, or plastic. The latter type is considered the most economical and demanded. You can even build an arch from plumbing plastic pipes (PVC) with your own hands.

Arches also differ in the method of application. Some are used for practical purposes, for example, an arch made by hand from plastic pipes is perfect for grapes. Such a structure can not only shape the vineyard, but it will also serve as an excellent support for the vine. Other types of arches are installed to give the site an attractive appearance.

Such structures are also divided by location. The structure can be composed of several parts (a kind of floral / grape corridor is formed). It can also be designed as a gazebo. A single arch is also installed, which is not adjacent to anything.

As for the form, it can be any, depending on its application.

An arch made of plastic pipes is a great option for giving

Great decoration for the garden

An arch created from pieces of water / heating pipes is considered the best option for a summer residence. The installation of such a structure will only take a couple of hours.

When installing, it is worth remembering that not all types of plastic can tolerate high / low temperatures. Therefore, the structure should be made prefabricated.

The advantages of a plastic pipe arch

Unlike a wooden arch, a plastic one is not afraid of moisture, so it will not be covered with fungus and mold. There is no need to paint such a structure, since it has a white color from the moment of installation, which will not fade or peel off over time.

An important detail: It is also worth noting that a plastic structure will last longer than an iron or wooden one. Manufacturers claim that PVC products can last for about half a century.

Another advantage - unlike metal, PVC does not corrode. Also, due to the low weight, installation is quick and easy.

PVC pipe arch

Before starting the construction, you should think over everything to the smallest detail. Imagine what kind of arch you want to see on your backyard. Then you should create drawings of the future structure. In order for the structure that you represented to flaunt on the site, it is necessary to correctly calculate the dimensions. Otherwise, the arch may turn out to be skewed.

Installation of an arch for roses from PVC pipes

Compound individual elements

For work you will need:

  • water pipe with a diameter of 20 mm and a length of 12 m;
  • twelve pieces of tees.

The dimensions of the structure can be increased.

Technology:

  1. Cut the pipe. The result should be: two pieces of 1.5 m, four pieces of 80 cm and eight elements of 40 cm. You also need to make six pieces of jumpers of 30 cm.
  2. Using the "iron" (soldering iron), the jumpers are soldered to the tees. Then they begin to weld all the remaining pipes.
  3. An arc is bent from the pipes. The ends are placed in the ground to a depth of 30 cm. The distance between the edges is 1.7 m. The height of the arch is 1.7 m. If desired, the distance can be increased or decreased.
  4. All that remains is to plant roses and wait for them to bloom.

How to weld elements?

For welding, a special welding machine is used - a soldering iron. People call it "ironing". It can be purchased or borrowed. The soldering process should be taken seriously.

So, before you start soldering, you need to install the appropriate nozzles on the device (they must fit the diameter of the element). Then, using the regulator, the thermal regime is set.

Note: The optimum heating temperature is 260 degrees. You can get to work only when the "iron" is completely heated, it will take about fifteen minutes.

While the machine is warming up, you can prepare the parts for welding. To do this, markings are placed on the elements for soldering. The parts are cut according to the marks.

Instructions:

  1. Cut the pipe along the marks.
  2. Select the correct size fittings.
  3. Degrease the working area.
  4. Parts are inserted into the attachments.
  5. After the elements are fully heated, they are removed from the nozzle and inserted into the fittings.
  6. The soldering points are not touched until they have completely cooled down.

How to make a garden arch

Who has never admired this decorative garden decoration? Or did not remember resting on a bench under an arch entwined with clematis or climbing roses? And did this arched structure, immersed in a green waterfall of wild grape branches, hung with pots of flowering annual begonias and petunias, left anyone indifferent? All this beauty of the decorated territory of the site is given by one of the most expressive elements of landscape design - a garden arch. And the beauty created with your own hands is doubly pleasing.

How to make a garden arch yourself, without resorting to the help of professionals, to accentuate and decorate a recreation area - a patio or a garden? To cope with this task by building a "flowering corridor" and decorating it with plants is within the power of any summer resident or amateur gardener.

Span plus supports

Garden arch - vaulted structure, consists of vertical posts (supports) with arched or straight connection at the top. It has a symmetrical shape about the vertical axis and a through opening "gate" or repeating sections. Refers to small landscape forms. Has a variety of stylistic performance.

According to the material of manufacture, garden arches are:

  • Wooden - block, plank, trellis, wicker or combined.
  • Metal - from pipes, rods, profiles, metal portable trellises, including forged arches.
  • Plastic - from pipes, collapsible, sectional or lattice.
  • Stone - brick, buildings made of natural stone on the foundation.

Lightweight wooden structures

Wooden arch

Wooden arches have a presentable "classic" look, easy to paint and easy to manufacture. They are the most common type of arches with an acceptable price / quality ratio. The lumber for the arches is selected dried. The best drying is natural, for three years under a canopy. To make an arch with a corridor length of 3 m, you will need 6 beams (3 on each side). Rectangular section 75 × 75 mm or 100 × 100 mm, height 2.0–2.2 m. From one end to the length of the deepening, the bars are impregnated with an antiseptic (you can use used car oil, diesel fuel). If pillars are used as supports, a proven method is used - the butt of the logs are fired at the stake.

A garden drill or a shovel makes pits every 1.5 m, 0.5–0.6 m deep. The bars are installed in the pits, sprinkled with soil mixed with crushed stone, crushed bricks and compacted. The verticality of the installation is checked with a building level or a plumb line. The most reliable installation method is concreting. However, there is an opinion that concrete "attracts" moisture, from which the wood quickly deteriorates. Therefore, a three-layer fill should be preferred over a solid fill - the layers of cement screed should be alternated with layers of dense soil.

Out of 6-7 prepared slats of arbitrary cross-section, 4 are fixed horizontally between the beams - they fill the voids. Two or three slats will go at the end of the assembly to connect three arches of the vault-floor. The semicircular arcs themselves are made of wooden beam (boards) according to a cardboard template repeating the profile of the future floor from a chain of n-th number of fragments-parts that have a rounded shape.

The length of each is usually 40–80 cm and depends on the radius of the future arch and the width of the lumber used. A cardboard template is superimposed on the wooden blank, the outline of the fragment is outlined and the part is cut out with a jigsaw or hand milling cutter. Final assembly produced on a cardboard template - the first layer of cut fragments is laid end-to-end. Then, with a shift in half a part, the second layer is laid along it. Both layers are connected to each other with self-tapping screws, and the finished arcs are installed and fixed on the upper parts of the supports.

Note! Disadvantage wooden arches - relatively short service life and low structural stability.

Wrought iron garden arch

Metal structures are strong and durable if you look after them. Full painting produced once every 3-4 years. Touch-up in places where rust appears - annually. For the manufacture of a garden arch, take two metal rods L \u003d 6 m and Ø 10 mm. A template of the future opening is prepared on the ground - a contour is outlined with paint, and metal pins L \u003d 20-30 cm are driven into it. The pins are bent around the rods to give them a finished arch shape - this is the skeleton of the future structure. The legs of the curved reinforcement are buried in the ground to a depth of 45-50 cm, the dug holes are poured concrete mortar... From rods of a meter length, rings are formed on the pipe bender - fillers of the space between the arcs and fasten them to the frame with soft wire.

Manufacturing scheme

In the absence of this bending tool, the space is filled with cross members - straight metal bars. The finished structure is covered with an anti-corrosion coating - a layer of primer and painted with enamel.

Lightness and high performance

Of PVC pipes

These are the qualities that plastic arches have - modern look landscape designs. They are made independently, plastic pipes of round or rectangular cross-section are used as the frame material - most often they use water pipes Ø 20 mm. The best material is considered to be high-quality PVC - it tolerates high and low temperatures better, so such structures are not removed by the owners for the winter in utility room... An alternative to manufacturing is to buy ready-made structures of a variety of styles - they are easy to assemble, and installation does not require special skills.

Note! The disadvantage of plastic structures is the limited choice colors - in most cases they white... However, the problem is easily solved by applying paint to the surface of the garden arch. A wide range of polyurethane paints and acrylic enamelsspecially designed for plastic and PVC. With their help, you can easily change the color of the arch.

Multi-section

Wooden pergola and brick arch

A sequence of light arches connected by beams in the form of a canopy is called a pergola (from the Italian name pergula - canopy, extension). At the location, they can be independent, free-standing, or structures adjoined at one end to the wall of the room. Often, pergolas begin above the entrance group of a room or a terrace and serve to protect residents from the scorching rays of the sun, including barbecues, swimming pools or outbuildings. A pergola with a bench can serve as a local recreation area. Replaces the gazebo, having a simple manufacturing technology similar to ordinary arches.

So, a garden arch made with your own hands from plastic pipes will become an adornment of absolutely any personal plot. And the ability to use it as a support for climbing plants will be a pleasant bonus for every zealous owner.

Plastic choice: five compelling reasons

Plastic garden arches noticeably outperform analogues made of classic materials. Indeed, against the background of short-lived wood and corroded metal, this practical and modern material boasts a number of advantages:

  • high moisture resistance, and as a result - immunity to mold and mildew;
  • durability - the product is designed for a 50-year period of intensive use;
  • color fastness that will not fade over time;

Arches made of plastic pipes as a support for roses

The attractiveness of the portal erected from plastic pipes lies not only in the stylish and laconic design, but also in the relatively low cost. And the ability to quickly install the structure makes it the best option for a garden or summer cottage.

In order to make an arch from a plastic pipe with your own hands, you do not need to be an experienced specialist in the field of construction or a professional landscape designer... It is enough just to adhere to the basic rules and recommendations.

Garden arch in a few hours: step by step

To obtain the desired results, you need to carry out the appropriate measurements and calculations, as well as think over all the nuances by recreating the mental projection of the future structure. The resulting image is transferred to paper in the form of a drawing.

Example of a plastic construction

Connection of individual elements with a soldering iron

The integral structure of the arch consists of separate components, which are pieces of a 20 mm water supply pipe, interconnected by fittings. Therefore, the assembly process takes place according to the "constructor" principle. For reliable fixation of parts, an "iron" with a corresponding attachment is used.

Do-it-yourself garden arch is a great decoration suburban area and the yard of a private house. In addition to purely aesthetic functions, this building also has practical value. This is reflected in the fact that the cultivation of climbing plants presents a certain difficulty. The use of various props and stretch marks helps to solve the problem only partially. Only decorative, made with my own hands, arches will give the site a presentable look, filling it with beauty and comfort. Today there are many possibilities and materials for making a garden arch. This is a rather simple structure that does not require special skills and professional tools... You can assemble an arch literally in 1 day, with a minimum of effort. Consider various options actions with which you can make beautiful structures for a private garden with your own hands.

An arch for flowers is a structure consisting of 2 supports and an arc connecting their tops.

Even in a small courtyard, there is always room for several arches.

The choice in favor of one or another design of an arch for a garden should be made based on the relief of the site, the presence and type of paths, the style of landscape design. Several such structures can be installed in a large garden. To select the location for installing the arch in the garden, site diagrams are drawn up, according to which the selection of the most optimal option for placing products on the ground is carried out.

A garden arch made by a DIY craftsman can be installed in the following places:

  • paths and trails;
  • benches;
  • playgrounds;
  • entrance gates;
  • doors to the house;
  • ponds and pools.

An arch can be a single structure or make up a complex of the same or different products. It all depends on the taste of the owners of the land.

Steel supports

The steel flower arch is a recognized classic in land decoration. This product is highly durable, reliable and durable. When properly designed and built, steel garden arches can last for decades.

Do-it-yourself arch made of metal is assembled using the following tools and materials:

  • welding machine;
  • bulgarian;
  • shovel;
  • roulette;
  • building level;
  • hardware (fittings, corner, steel bar);
  • metal primer and paint;
  • protective devices (mask, gloves, respirator).

The work can be carried out at any time of the year, but it is better to do it in warm and dry weather, so as not to experience discomfort from heat, cold and dirt.

The metal arch should be assembled in the following sequence:

  1. 1 Carry out marking and tracing on the ground. Open holes for supports. Their depth should be at least 50 cm.
  2. 2 Make arcs. You can use a pipe bender or a template made by yourself. It is difficult to do this alone, so it is better to call a strong worker for help.
  3. 3 Weld the supports and arcs together. Check the consistency of their sizes. Correct the products if necessary.
  4. 4 Connect together the component parts of the arch. For this, pieces of reinforcement or pre-made rings, rhombuses or other shapes from a steel bar are used. Forged figures made to order look very good.
  5. 5 Clean the product from rust. Cover it with a metal primer. After the primer has dried, the arch must be painted with acrylic enamel, resistant to temperature changes and solar radiation.
  6. 6 Coat the bottom of the arch with tar and wrap with cellophane. This will prevent direct metal-to-wet soil contact and corrosion.
  7. 7 Install the finished structure into the open pits. After alignment, the arch is finally fixed. To do this, it is quite enough to fall asleep in a pit and tamp a mixture of fine gravel and sand.

If the flower arch will be dismantled for the winter, then a mobile version of this design can be made. To do this, steel pipes are inserted into the ground and poured cement mortar... This technique will allow you to move the arch to a new place and simplify its maintenance in a warm and dry room.

Assembly from wood

Wooden arches are made from beams and planks. Natural material fits organically into any landscape of the land. In addition, wood handling is easy and simple. It lends itself well to sawing, planing and drilling. Since wood is susceptible to mold, mildew and decay, raw materials that are resistant to moisture should be selected for the manufacture of outdoor structures. Good choice is larch or cedar. These types of wood can be found in open areas for decades without losing their practical and aesthetic qualities.

In order to make wooden arches, you need the following tools and materials:

  • hacksaw;
  • roulette;
  • plane;
  • a hammer;
  • sandpaper;
  • building level;
  • screwdriver;
  • self-tapping screws;
  • nails;
  • antiseptic solution;
  • wood varnish;
  • timber 100x100 mm;
  • rail 20x50 mm.

Since the top of the arch will be braided with flowers, it can be made in the form of a broken arc. For this, several pieces of timber are used, connected by a thorn-groove system. But you can go the other way and make real arcs on which there will be no corners.

A wooden arch is made in the following sequence:

  1. 1 A semicircular template is made. Its diameter should correspond to the width of the future arch. A suitably sized container for water or fuel can be used as a template.
  2. 2 Blanks for arcs are placed on the template. A load is suspended at their ends. The more its weight, the will pass faster bending process.
  3. 3 The wood is abundantly wetted with hot water. This leads to the fact that it becomes soft and begins to bend under the weight of the load. When the timber acquires the required radius, wetting stops. The workpieces are dried and removed from the mold.
  4. 4 2 frames are assembled, of which the finished arch will consist. Supports with arcs can be connected using spikes or self-tapping screws. The workpiece joints are leveled and cleaned.
  5. 5 The space between the frames is filled with cross members. Their length depends on the design and purpose of the product. As crossbars, you can use pieces of lath or processed on lathe blanks. For an idea, you can use the design that is used in the manufacture of balusters for wooden stairs... You can come up with the shape of the crossbars on your own, showing imagination and creativity.
  6. 6 The assembled arch is tested for strength, ground and polished. Its surface is treated with an antiseptic and varnished. If the owner of the site likes dark products, then he can cover the wood with wood stain. This will accentuate its texture and darken it significantly.
  7. 7 Pits 50-60 cm deep are dug under the supports. Their bottom is rammed and covered with rubble. That part of the timber that will be in the ground is abundantly lubricated with bitumen and wrapped in roofing material. This technique helps to protect the wood from dampness and pests.
  8. 8 The legs are lowered into the dug holes. They are aligned and secured. For this, crushed stone or concrete mortar are used. If the arch is removable, then how many pipes are embedded in the ground, into which the supports are inserted.

With the coming of autumn wooden structure it is recommended to remove and put into the barn. If this is not possible, then you can wrap it in cellophane and fix it with tape.

Arcs can also be made from wooden blocks of short length. It is necessary to glue them in the form of a semicircle, grabbing them with nails or screws for reliability. After the glue dries, you need to draw an arc on the resulting workpiece and cut it out with a jigsaw.

Construction of plastic pipes

You can quickly and easily assemble an original and durable arch from plastic sewer or water pipes. Polymer plastic resistant to corrosion and immune to mold. He does not need any protection from external factors. Based on the choice of the type of pipes, the finished structure can be monolithic or collapsible. Let's consider this issue in more detail.

In order to make a collapsible arch, unreinforced sewer pipes with a diameter of 50 mm are used. They are strong enough to withstand significant plant weights and strong winds. For assembly, you only need a tape measure and a hacksaw to adjust the fixed parts of the structure along the length. The connection of parts is carried out using tees and crosses. It is possible to bend the pipe into an arc using heating. To do this, a plastic plug is inserted into the workpiece, boiling water is poured and a second one is installed. Under influence high temperature the polymer becomes soft and pliable. It is given the desired shape, the product is fixed in the desired position and left in it until the liquid has completely cooled. After that, you can use it further.

To keep the arch supports firmly in the ground, you can use a 50x200 mm adapter filled with sand as a base. The pipes fit easily into it, hold firmly and are easy to remove. To improve the aesthetic qualities of products from polymer pipes, paint is used. Its color is chosen based on the variety of plants that will braid the arch. The best option considered black and green colors, against the background of which flowers look great.

Who has not admired this decorative garden decoration at least once? Or did he not remember the rest on the bench under the arch, entwined with clematis or climbing roses? Did this arched structure, immersed in a green waterfall of wild grape branches, hung with pots of flowering annual begonias and petunias, left anyone indifferent? All this beauty of the decorated territory of the site is given by one of the most expressive elements of landscape design - a garden arch.

  • Stone - brick, natural stone buildings on a foundation.

Lightweight wooden structures

Of the 6-7 prepared slats of arbitrary cross-section, 4 are fixed horizontally between the beams - they fill the voids. Two or three slats will go at the end of the assembly to connect three arches of the vault-floor. The semicircular arcs themselves are made from a wooden bar (board) according to a cardboard template that repeats the profile of the future overlap from a chain of n-th number of fragments-parts that have a rounded shape.

The length of each is usually 40–80 cm and depends on the radius of the future arch and the width of the lumber used. A cardboard template is superimposed on a wooden blank, the contour of the fragment is outlined and the part is cut with a jigsaw or a hand mill. The final assembly is carried out on a cardboard template - the first layer of cut fragments is laid end-to-end. Then, with a shift in half a part, the second layer is laid along it. Both layers are connected to each other with self-tapping screws, and the finished arcs are installed and fixed on the upper parts of the supports.

Note! The disadvantage of wooden arches is a relatively short service life and low structural stability.

Strong and durable

Metal structures are strong and durable if you look after them. Full painting is done every 3-4 years. The legs of the curved reinforcement are buried into the ground to a depth of 45–50 cm, the dug holes are poured with concrete. From rods of a meter length, rings are formed on the pipe bender - fillers of the space between the arcs and fasten them to the frame with soft wire.

In the absence of this bending tool, the space is filled with cross members - straight metal bars. The finished structure is covered with an anti-corrosion coating - a layer of primer and painted with enamel.

Lightness and high performance

These are the qualities that plastic arches have - a modern type of landscape structures. They are made independently, plastic pipes of a round or rectangular cross-section are used as the frame material - most often they use water pipes Ø 20 mm. The best material is considered to be high-quality PVC - it tolerates high and low temperatures better, so the owners do not clean such structures in the utility room for the winter. An alternative to manufacturing is to buy ready-made structures of a variety of styles - they are easy to assemble, and installation does not require special skills.

Note! The disadvantage of plastic structures is the limited choice of colors - in most cases they are white. However, the problem is easily solved by applying paint to the surface of the garden arch. A wide range of polyurethane paints and acrylic enamels are available, specially designed for plastics and PVC. With their help, you can easily change the color of the arch.

Multi-section

A sequence of light arches connected by beams in the form of a canopy is called a pergola (from the Italian name pergula - canopy, extension). At the location, they can be independent, free-standing, or structures adjoined at one end to the wall of the room. Often, pergolas begin above the entrance group of a room or a terrace and serve to protect residents from the scorching rays of the sun, including barbecues, swimming pools or outbuildings. A pergola with a bench can serve as a local recreation area. Replaces the gazebo, having a simple manufacturing technology similar to ordinary arches.
