A cozy beautiful dacha with a well-groomed garden and a vegetable garden is the dream of every city dweller. Fresh vegetables from the garden, flowering flower beds, barbecue and garden chairs are simple, but so important components of a summer cottage. And everyone who has at least a small area can get it. Arranging your own summer cottage is a fascinating creative process. But it requires preparation and following the plan. Then the dacha will turn into a real paradise where you can relax alone, with your family or invite a noisy company of guests.

Where to start the arrangement: preparatory work

Before proceeding with the arrangement garden plot, you must definitely draw up a plan. A chaotic tree plantation cannot be turned into a beautiful garden. And if you do not foresee in advance where the recreation area will be, and where the beds are, you will get a useless use of space.

Preparation for building suburban area start with a plan, and before that they conduct a preliminary examination. It is necessary to explore the site, study the parameters and take into account its features. The main criteria are the location of the house and the relief. If there is no house on the site yet, the task is simplified. For future construction, you can choose the best place.

If you have a house, you will have to adjust the location of the garden, vegetable garden and recreation areas. A gentle relief will also simplify the task. With strong differences in relief, you will have to choose one of the possible solutions: alignment or use as the main feature and "highlight" of the site.

Drawing up a plan for a summer cottage project

It should be remembered that the plan is not drawn up in advance without visiting the site. When developing a primary plan, the main factors affecting the location of individual zones are taken into account:

  1. Buildings that are already present on the site. The house is a central building, from its location they are repelled when they plan to place a recreation area.
  2. The boundaries of the site, the location of the entrance and the entrance. It is important to consider the type of gate: swing or sliding. It depends on how much additional space will have to be allocated so that the gate can open freely.
  3. Communications. The plan shows: water supply, electrical cable, gas pipeline, sewerage. No trees should be planted near the lines of communications, therefore it is important to accurately display them on the plan.
  4. Plants. It is necessary to divide trees and shrubs into groups: those that cannot be transplanted and they will remain in place, those that can be transplanted and those that can be cut down.
  5. Soil type. Loose clay soil requires additional strengthening of the foundations of buildings and allocation of space for a vegetable garden and flower beds.

When placing the plan-scheme on paper, you should strictly observe the south-north direction. On the sheet, hut is at the bottom, north is at the top.

Dividing the site into zones

There are obligatory zones: house, garage (if you have a car). The rest are selected depending on personal needs and preferences. Most often, suburban areas are placed:

In addition to the standard zoning, additional decorative zones can be placed in the country, for example, a winter garden. But this is possible only in large areas with relatively flat relief.

Ideas and ready-made solutions: mandatory components of a summer cottage

A traditional Russian suburban area, where it is comfortable to relax, must have a house, a bathhouse and a garage. The bathhouse should be located so that it is not visible from the street and as close to the house as possible. It is convenient to place a brazier and a gazebo next to the bathhouse. If the site is large, a flower bed or flower garden is usually set up next to the gazebo. A place is allocated for the garden in the lower zone of the site, behind the gazebo.

Fruit trees are planted behind the house, grouped in the left or right corner. It is better not to stretch the garden and plant them in a square. The main decorative elements must be placed on the side of the facade. Ideally, if you manage to break the flower beds under the windows or at a distance, but so that they can be seen from the windows.

Budget minimalism: how to cut costs

Your budget may be limited, but you don't have to hold back your imagination. You can save on registration by using:

You cannot reduce the budget on materials for buildings. This is an imaginary economy: cheap materials are short-lived and you will have to make regular repairs so that the finish does not lose its original appearance.

Entrance: door finishing

The door and the space around it are responsible for the first impression of the cottage, therefore it needs a special design. Most often, the doors and the fence are decorated with climbing perennials.

But if the fence does not allow this, you can get by with hanging flower pots. Other popular decoration options include trimmed trees (planted on either side of doors) or lanterns.

Backyard: arrangement of free territory

Setting up your backyard provides the greatest scope for experimentation. Here you can create a "wild garden" by planting ornamental plant varieties. You can also equip a pond or an embankment. The backyard with a flat relief is ideal for arranging a playground for active games: football, basketball, table tennis.

How to arrange a resting place

Verandas and gazebos are considered as the main types of recreation areas. The veranda can be open (no walls) or closed (with dense walls, covering the site from wind and precipitation). The type of veranda depends on what kind of rest the owners of the cottage are used to. For those who like to spend evenings on the veranda, a closed type with windows is more suitable - this will allow you not to give up your favorite pastime even in winter.

The open veranda allows you to have tea drinking only in summer.

The gazebo is actually a separate open veranda. It is a small structure with a solid roof and carved walls. The gazebo does not shelter from the cold, but copes with the rainy weather. This type of recreation area is suitable for those who like to spend time outdoors, surrounded by greenery.

Garden and vegetable garden in the country

It is impractical to plant a large garden in the country. Fruit trees take up a lot of space, and you can harvest enough from several trees with regular maintenance. For a classic garden, it is enough:

  • 1-2 apple trees;
  • 1 cherry;
  • 1 pear;
  • 1 sweet cherry;
  • 1 peach;
  • 2-3 currant bushes;

A strawberry bed and a small area with raspberries will be a good addition. It is better to choose varieties that bear fruit 2 times per season. Ornamental shrubs or trees are an optional element; it is more practical to replace them with weaving perennials.

A country garden is a space for imagination. But it is important to consider 2 points: the shape and location of the beds and the proximity of individual plant varieties. Square beds are not convenient: they take up a lot of space, and it is difficult to process them - it will not be possible to reach the center from the edge. Better to choose oval or oblong beds. Light-loving plants should be placed closer to the center, and those that love shade and coolness should be closer to the fence.

Tracks: layout principle and shape

The location of the tracks must be foreseen immediately, at the stage of drawing up a plan-scheme. The main paths lead from the entrance to the house, from the house to other buildings and along the central garden alley.

Tracks cannot be drawn based only on their own aesthetic views. All curves should be motivated and natural looking. Having drawn a path on the plan, you need to rotate it and see if it overlaps with others. There should be no sharp corners at the intersections, it is desirable that the intersections are proportional. The maximum permissible slope angle is 12 cm by 1 m. If the relief difference is greater, you need to make steps.

The material for the track is selected depending on its purpose: basic, walking, decorative. The more often it is supposed to walk on it, the stronger and more durable the material should be.

MAFs and other decorative elements: how to decorate the site

MAFs (small architectural forms) include decorative elements that have no practical function, serving only as decorations. LFAs include:

  • fences;
  • conversations;
  • flower beds;
  • bridges;
  • rotundas;
  • benches;
  • monuments;
  • awnings;
  • hedge.

For the manufacture of MAFs, wood and sculptural material are used. You can create them yourself or buy ready-made in horticultural stores.

Country fence decoration

Various decorative elements are used for decoration: lamps, decorative rock, garden sculptures... Vegetable garden decorations include ornamental trees, flower beds and ampelous plants. Experienced gardeners recommend choosing the latter.

Ampel flowers are called flowers with a long stem, which are planted in hanging pots. Unlike hedges, they are mobile: the pots can be moved or removed at any time. Popular ampelous plants include surfinia, lobelia, petunia.

Decoration of flower beds and flower beds

A simple and profitable design method is the “calico garden” technique. For its creation, perennial flowers of contrasting colors are used. They bloom almost simultaneously and delight the eye all season. The shape of the flower bed can be any, but it looks neater oval. The frame of the flower bed must be delineated: with brick, stone or slate.

Original alpine slide with conifers

An alpine slide is a type of flower bed that has several levels. Decorate it with conifers - original idea, allowing for one season to create an almost eternal flower bed. For an alpine slide, decorative thujas and spruces, junipers are suitable. To choose tall plants not worth it: they will spoil the structure of the slide.

How to equip a small plot

To visually make a small area larger, you need to use space curvature techniques:

  • light colors;
  • smooth lines;
  • more lamps;
  • minimum of plantings.

It is better if the fence is not solid, but lattice. This will add lightness and light to the site.

How to harmonize a long section

If there is no house on the elongated section yet, its placement is planned at the far end of the section. Trees and flower beds are planted in front of the house. Outbuildings are taken out to the fence, placing them on one side. The path from the gate to the house should be winding. The central part of the site can be left under a lawn or beds with low-growing plants can be set up. It is better to move all tall plantings to fences.

Closed type has 2 subtypes: with horizontal closeness and vertical closeness. In the horizontal version, the inspection of the space is partially difficult and is covered only from above (for example, loose tree crowns). Vertical option closes the space with "walls" - tree crowns, shrubs, grating. All structures on the site belong to a closed type of spatial structure.

Open type Is a plane not occupied by volumetric elements. These include: reservoirs, lawns, flower beds with low-growing plants, paved areas. Open space can be closed (surrounded on all sides) or reversed (closed on one side).

What are viewpoints and what are they for

A viewpoint is a site on which a person stands, examining a landscape painting.

Viewpoint Is the center from which the view opens. When a person moves from one zone to another, the viewpoint changes. But the landscape canvas itself remains intact. Select the central viewpoint (from which the entire area is viewed) and points in each zone. Additional points most often include:

  • garden gate;
  • porch of the house;
  • recreation area.

Having identified the center of the landscape painting and the main points of view, you need to check how they fit together. From each point, a view of the accent should open: a building, a tree, a decorative element. If they are not there, you need to add these elements to the plan.

On the banks of the river, our friends bought an abandoned piece of land, which is a wasteland covered with hillocks and irregularities, overgrown with bushes and weeds.

Arrangement of the territory

Four years of hard work made it possible to build a country house with all the city amenities and turn the surrounding area into a paradise.

House project, its internal organization and the landscape design was done by the owner of the suburban area herself. Since the summer cottage was created for recreation in the summer, most of the land was allocated for a green lawn and flower beds.

Only a small portion of the land in the far corner behind the house was used to set up a greenhouse and green beds. There were also planted currant bushes and apple-trees with plums.

To keep the paths dry and clean in rainy weather, they are paved paving slabselevated above ground level. As a result, it became possible to walk around the territory of the summer cottage even in indoor slippers.

For the entire length of the suburban area from the gate, a wide path was made, which ends with a canopy without walls, intended for parking a car. The canopy allows not only to protect the car from precipitation and solar radiation, but also to do household chores under it in rainy weather.

A garage carport of this design is successful. design solution, since it does not obstruct the eye and fits well into the overall design of the suburban area.

The owners of the suburban area are very hospitable people. Relatives and friends often come to them. Thanks to the wide path from the gate, up to six cars can be accommodated in the yard at once.

Between the fence and the wide path, there is a strip of land on which flowers and spruce forests are planted.

Along the opposite side of the path and a green lawn, there is also a flower bed.

All paths are made of gray and red paving slabs. A narrow path leads to the house from a wide road.

Front front door a spacious open veranda with a view of the river was built in the country house. It has a table and chairs. After visiting the steam room on the veranda, on summer evenings in any weather, it is very pleasant to have dinner with soft drinks and barbecue in the company of friends.

On the summer cottage, before the start of the construction of the house, an outbuilding was built, consisting of three separate rooms with doors. Two entrances are equipped with a small common porch with a canopy. One of the rooms has a window overlooking the river. It has a bed with a bedside table for guests to sleep in. The second room has no windows and serves as a workshop, and the third is used to store inventory and tools.

Next to the utility house, opposite the veranda, there is a platform covered with paving slabs for grilling kebabs on the grill. Nearby there is a place for a mobile garden rocking sofa.

Flower beds and flower beds

Looking at the photos published above, you probably noticed that almost all, even on the smallest plots of land between the paths, flower beds and flower beds are made. The owner of the suburban area fantastically loves flowers, and is ready to deal with them tirelessly from morning to evening, which by the way does all her free time.

The pride of the hostess of the summer cottage is the spacious green lawn. Although it often has to be cut, there is a place for children to run barefoot, play ball games and badminton.

A low fence with a wicket in the center separates the suburban area from the public area. There is a flowerbed in front of the fence, separated from the path by wooden blocks. In addition to flowers, there are Christmas trees on the flowerbed, each of which is planted in honor of one of the granddaughters and named after them. Children will grow and watch how spruce grows with them. It will be very interesting for children.

Marigold flowers are planted along a low fence on the side of the river. On the left side of it, next to the canopy, there is a box with a tight lid for the disposal of food waste and plant waste.

Almost the entire area not occupied by a green lawn, a greenhouse and a small vegetable garden is planted with spruce forests and flowers.

The corners between the paths are also beautifully decorated with paving slabs. Discreet but tasteful.

A flower garden in the form of an alpine slide decorates the edge of the grass lawn. Original composition and harmonious combination different colors combined with boulders and pebbles is admirable. The photo shows a view from the second floor country house.

An alpine slide-like flower bed is not symmetrical, and when you look at it from different sides, a completely different composition of flowers opens up.

And in this photo, on the site of last year's alpine slide, a new one has been created. larger size and with a different design. For detailed acquaintance, I decided to present photographs of plants and flowers in close-up.

The photo shows a perennial, unpretentious to the soil, sun-loving golden cinquefoil, with beautiful yellow flowersgrowing on an alpine slide. The plant is not afraid of frost, and tea from Lapchatka has medicinal properties... Golden cinquefoil begins to bloom, usually in the second half of summer.

And this is thyme (creeping thyme), popularly called "Bogorodskaya grass". Thyme is a very beautiful perennial plant with a noble aroma, which numbers about 400 species. It comes in different colors. Thyme is also medicinal plant... Blooms from early June to late July. Thyme is great for making alpine slides.

This flower is called a stone rose, a relative of cacti, which has nothing to do with ordinary roses, except that rosettes are similar in shape, and there are leaves along the edges color pink... The Latin name is Sempervivum, which means "always alive". An unpretentious beautiful perennial plant with fleshy leaves, odorless. Ideal for an alpine slide.

Heather is an evergreen, low-growing perennial (grows up to 30 years old), shrub plant and blooms in our latitudes from July-August until late autumn. Heather is a light-loving plant, and with a sufficient amount of sun, the flowers are saturated with color and do not fall off for a long time. Great honey plant and bees never fly by. The flowers are small, lilac or lilac-pink. The bushes grow to a height of 60 cm. Heather is the national flower of Norway, as the Heather fields occupy more than half of the country's area.

The Jacobsen dwarf mountain pine has a beautiful decorative form and surprises with its fluffiness. The needles are not prickly and it is pleasant to touch them with your hands. This coniferous plant is unpretentious to the soil and grows in any conditions, loves the sun, is not afraid of frost. The height of an adult plant does not exceed 40 cm, which makes mountain pine an ideal ephedra for alpine slides.

Due to the unusual red color of the leaves, it is very popular among gardeners. perennial flower Heicher. Garden Heuchera is the fruit of the work of American breeders. Geichera does not like direct sunlight and grows better in the shade of other plants.

The flowering time of Heucher depends on the ambient temperature and light intensity. Due to the bright red color of the leaves and beautiful flowers Geuchera is great in combination with other plants to create alpine slides. It is better to plant Geikhera in the shade of conifers or other flowers, so that the sun's rays fall on it only at sunrise or sunset.

This is another variation conifers... Unfortunately, I don't know the scientific name of this tree.

Gray Canadian spruce Conica is native to Canada. A dwarf variety grows in ten years to a height of only one meter. This is a very beautiful ephedra, excellent, like an ordinary spruce, grows in our latitudes.

You probably don't need to imagine a lily flower. Lily is the oldest known flower, a flower of purity and purity. There are thousands of legends about Lily. Lily is considered the flower of kings. Everyone knows and loves this one beautiful flower... In the photo, Canadian lily.

This photo is also a lily, only bright red.

Roses are perhaps the most popular flowers for expressing the feelings of the giver. Thanks to the variety of shades of rosebuds, they were "taught" to convey attitude without words. A scarlet rose or a bouquet is given when expressing romantic love and passion, a presented red rose bud expresses confusion, a tender attitude will emphasize a pale pink bouquet of roses. It is customary to give a dark pink bouquet as a sign of gratitude.

Astilba is an unpretentious frost-resistant perennial plant with bright red flowers. There are varieties that bloom with other flowers. Flowers can reach a height of 60 cm and rise beautifully above low-growing grass and other flowers.

Pansies are popularly called tricolor violet. These pretty flowers seem to be looking at us. Pansies are among the most unpretentious colors to environmental conditions, bloom from early spring to late autumn.

The color combination of Pansy petals tends to infinity. This is one of the favorite flowers of gardeners.

Cannes is exotic flowers for our latitudes. The flowers are very beautiful, and in one flower the petals can be of different colors. Cannes are great flowers for decorating a summer cottage.

And this Gatsania flower attracted a bee, and she collects nectar. Gatsania, or gazania, is a South African flower that looks like a Russian chamomile. Flowers appear from July and are pleasing to the eye until the end of the season. The flower loves an abundance of sunlight and has an attractive appearance.

The Gatsania flower has a color spectrum of sunlight, and therefore it is difficult to look away from it.

Arranging a summer cottage with your own hands is a process that can be safely called continuous. Every year, coming out of town, we find many objects that deserve our close attention: here you need to fix a rickety fence, here to lay a path, and here it would be nice to equip a flower bed.

And although a whole encyclopedia may not be enough to describe every detail of this process, below we will try to collect a number of the most useful recommendations... By following them, you can streamline your work and significantly increase their efficiency. So there will still be time for rest!

Dividing the cottage into zones

Before equipping a summer cottage, you need to conditionally divide its area into functional zones. Of course, it is desirable to do this even at the design stage, but it will also not be superfluous to put things in order in the country house, which is actively exploited.

Experts distinguish three main areas:

  • Residential, which includes a house and adjoining territory ... Here, the priority is communications (water, electricity, sewerage), paths and access roads, as well as the features of the building itself. The main factors to look out for will be comfort and safety.
  • Recreational - everything related to rest (active and not so)... Perhaps, examples of arranging a summer cottage here will be the most diverse, ranging from terraces and lawns to outdoor exercise machines, basketball courts, tennis courts, etc.

  • Gardening... This can include both a front garden with flowers and an alpine slide in front of the house, and a greenhouse with outbuildings for equipment. However, the main part of this zone is, of course, a garden and beds, which can be considered an integral part of almost every summer cottage.

When we equip a summer cottage with our own hands, we should visually divide these zones among ourselves, placing them so that they do not intersect. In this case, our stay outside the city will turn out to be much more comfortable, since we can easily switch from one type of activity to another, and at the same time we will not interfere with each other.

House territory

We will try to limit ourselves to only the most important ones, and start with those that relate directly to the area near the house:

  • One of the key points worth paying attention to will be the arrangement of the entrance to the summer cottage... For this purpose, either a gravel platform is usually equipped (layer thickness from 50 cm, fraction 25-35 mm), or monolithic slab from concrete / asphalt concrete. The price of the second option is much higher, but the concrete surface is much easier to keep clean.

Note!
An important element of the entrance area is a drainage ditch, which provides drainage of rainwater.

  • The area in front of the house is usually connected to all other objects on the site by means of paths... Arranging the tracks of the summer cottage with your own hands can go along the most different schemes... The cheapest option is gravel, but if your financial capabilities allow it, then you can lay out all the paths with paving slabs on a sand cushion or a concrete monolithic base.

  • Also in the local area stands from the rain... It can cover only a small area in front of the porch, or it can cover the entire area, including the parking space. Usually such awnings are mounted on steel supports, and translucent polycarbonate is used as a covering.
  • An important factor providing comfort will be the lighting of the local area.... Naturally, this requires a stable power supply, and renting a diesel generator for a summer residence will help here: even if the electricity is turned off, you will not be left without electricity.

Rest zone

If you do not know where to start planning a recreational site, then we recommend that you think about creating:

  • For this purpose, we select a small area that will not be shaded by either a house or tall trees. If necessary, we bring fertile soil to the site, carefully level it and sow it with lawn grasses.

Note!
Lawn grasses are resistant to trampling, but they must be trimmed regularly.

  • You can also break an alpine slide on such a site. We lay out its base from natural stone: limestone is best suited, slightly worse - granite or quartzite. We fill the spaces between the stones with fertile soil, in which we plant the plants.
  • Finally, if you have a large area empty, then you can make a pond on it. Of course, digging and concreting the bowl itself will have to work a lot, because today special plastic containers that are installed flush with the ground level are gaining popularity.

Garden

When deciding how to equip a small summer cottage, many of us focus on exactly the part where vegetables and fruits can be grown.

This approach can be considered quite rational, however, here it is worth adhering to a number of recommendations:

  • First, the beds must be placed in such a way that there is enough light for them. That is why trees are usually planted in the immediate vicinity of the country house, and the garden is set up at a distance - so it will not be shaded throughout the day.

Note!
This does not apply to shade-loving plants: a plot is usually allocated for them either next to the garden, or in general under the crowns of trees.

  • Especially carefully you need to choose a place for installing greenhouses. In addition to a sufficient amount of sunlight, this area should be protected from the wind, especially in the spring.
  • The beds themselves should be trimmed from the paths with bumpers made of boards or plastic shields: this way the black soil will not be lost, and we will apply much less dirt to the recreation area and to the house.

  • To ensure sufficient abundant watering during a dry season, it is worth considering such an option as arranging a well at a summer cottage. Despite all the labor costs associated with this event, it can be considered justified: this way we will not only provide ourselves with high-quality water for drinking and irrigation, but also insure ourselves against water supply outages, which usually occur at the most inopportune moment.
  • Well, if growing vegetables is a rather serious hobby for you, then you should equip your own in the garden pumping station... Such an installation will make it possible to water the beds with a hose, and to mount an economical, but effective system drip irrigation.

Output

Options for arranging a summer cottage, as well as recommendations for performing certain works, can be listed endlessly. The main thing here is to understand what exactly we want from our dacha, to plan the work and start the systematic implementation of our project. It may take more than one year, but if we are guided by advice similar to those outlined in the video in this article, then we will definitely succeed.

The article will discuss how to start arranging a summer cottage, how to properly carry out zoning, what principles of arrangement to use when organizing individual zones. Photos and videos of finished works will allow you to clearly see the stages of solving the described problem.

A hand-drawn plan for the arrangement of a suburban area Source 93.ru

For many, the acquisition suburban area - a joyful and troublesome event at the same time. On the one hand, the family has a place to relax, on the other hand, it is difficult to organize the space around the house to make the rest pleasant and comfortable. To begin with, you have to work hard and sweat. And in order for all this not to be in vain, it is important to know where to start arranging a land plot, how to competently approach this issue. When solving it, experts advise adhering to the following plan.

Correct planning

At this stage, the main thing is not to rush. You need to arrive at the site in the daytime, take a picture of it from different sides, mark its perimeter on a piece of paper and mark the exact dimensions. Then, schematically, you need to place the main functional areas on it. Moreover, in addition to your personal wishes, it is also important to take into account:

    features relief of the territory;

    location cardinal points;

    depth occurrence of groundwater;

    composition and soil type.

Study of the possibilities of the site Source geopnz.ru

Determining the composition of the soil is not difficult. To do this, you need to take a lump of damp earth and try to roll it into a sausage. If it cracks, then there is a lot of sand in the soil, if the sausage is easily wrapped in a bagel, then the soil is clayey. In the first case, before planting the plants, you will have to add clay additives, in the second, sand. Drained peatlands are very acidic soil. During the autumn digging, lime or special additives, which can be found in specialized stores, must be added to it.

If the groundwater is at a depth of two meters from the surface of the earth, most likely you will have to abandon planting fruit trees... Otherwise, you will have to carry out expensive and time-consuming work to drain the site.

Knowing the location of the site relative to the cardinal points will be useful for determining the level of illumination. Most fruit plants need a lot of light. If it is not there, you will have to give preference to shade-loving plants when carrying out landscaping.

Site plan relative to the cardinal points Source buildinexpert.ru

It is useful to have information about the winds in a particular territorial area. If the site is on a hill, it will be blown from all sides. This will negatively affect thermophilic crops such as apricots and cherries. If it is located in a low place, the air temperature will always be two or three degrees lower. Some plants react strongly to this.

Experts, talking about where to start the improvement of the land plot, advise to immediately divide it into four main zones and designate where the residential building will be, where the outbuildings will be, where the recreation area and the garden part will be located.

For the construction of a house, you need to allocate about 15% of the total garden area... Designate, taking into account the scale on the project plan, the place where the building will be located, where the front door will go. This is the main reference point for the distribution of other objects. 15% of the land area should also be attributed to the resting place, the remaining 70% is useful for gardening. These parameters are conditional. To immediately see the overall picture, you need to draw up an approximate zoning scheme, approximately the same as shown in the next photo.

On our website you can find contacts of construction companies that offer the service of designing and carrying out landscape works of any complexity. You can communicate directly with representatives by visiting the Low-Rise Country exhibition of houses.

Such a drawing can be constantly improved. It helps to see on a piece of paper what will happen later. With such a plan, you can already contact landscape designer... But before that, it is important to decide one more question - to choose the style of landscaping. There are many of them today. Each has its own principles of construction, its own rules of creation. Various techniques are used to implement them. It is they who help to create a beautiful space around. To facilitate the work of a designer, you must first make a list of what you would like to see on your site and hand it over to a specialist.

Video description

In the video, the specialist talks about how to properly plan a suburban area:

Features of the arrangement of the main zones

When the site is already divided into functional zones, it is worth studying the rules for designing each. The house is the central object of any suburban area. It is located near the entrance. This helps to rationally use the remaining space and properly organize its fence. At the construction stage, all sewerage systems are being installed.

House near the gate Source ochag23.ru

The main entrance must be at least three meters from the gate. This is done for fire safety reasons. This technique also helps to differentiate housing from the street and make living in it more comfortable. The area from the gates and front doors is called the entrance area. In a small area, about six square meters... Special attention should be paid to the design of this site. And all because it is he who helps guests create the first impression of the dacha. Designers love to decorate this part of the garden with flowering flower beds, curly shrubs or decorative trees... A complex composition with a fountain or rockery always looks spectacular.

Household block

This type of building includes a shed where garden tools are stored, a room for firewood or fertilizers, a workshop, an outdoor toilet, a bath complex or a compact shower. It is better to make all these buildings as a single complex and place it in the opposite side from the house, in the northern or north-western section and fence it off from other functional areas with branched shrubs or hedges. A screen formed from thuja, bright thickets will look beautiful climbing roses... The house and the household block should be connected by a wide, comfortable walkway.

Resting-place

When deciding where to start the improvement of the summer cottage, it is important to carefully consider the recreation area. Without it, a dacha is not a dacha. Many go out of town to drink tea in nature, sit with a book in their hands, lie in a hammock, cook on an open fire. delicious food and eat them at a beautifully set large table that can accommodate family members and numerous guests. So that bad weather does not interfere with the conceived plan, it is tedious to build a pavilion or a summer gazebo.

If there are children in the family, it is useful to put a playground next to it. Then it will be possible for adults to relax comfortably and watch their kids at the same time. For small children, you need to put up a swing and build a sandbox, for teenagers, small pools are best.

Recreation area in the country Source houzz.es

Such a place should be at a decent distance from the utility block and from the garden. A wide path from the house should also go to him. But the space on the sides of it is usually sown with a lawn, flower beds may appear along the paths. And near the gazebo itself, you must definitely create vertical gardening, set up pergolas or cover fences with climbing plants. Solutions look good when flowering vines are used for the designated purposes. To create a cozy atmosphere, you can break streams next to the gazebo, make small man-made waterfalls.

Garden plot

More recently, the dacha was a place for growing fruit and berry crops... Much has changed today, but the love of gardening continues to live in the hearts of residents of large cities. Designers, given such predilections, have long developed techniques that help make the garden part of landscape design...
