A cozy beautiful cottage with a well-groomed garden and vegetable garden is the dream of every city dweller. Fresh vegetables from the garden, flowering flower beds, barbecue and garden chairs are simple, but such important components of a country holiday. And anyone who has at least a small plot can get it. Arranging your own dacha is an exciting creative process. But it requires preparation and following a plan. Then the dacha will turn into a real paradise where you can relax alone, with your family or invite a noisy company of guests.

Where to start the arrangement: preparatory work

Before you start setting up garden plot, you need to make a plan. A chaotic plantation of trees cannot be turned into a beautiful garden. And if you do not foresee in advance where the recreation area will be, and where the beds are, you will get a useless use of space.

Construction preparation suburban area start with a plan, and before that, a preliminary inspection is carried out. It is necessary to explore the site, study the parameters and take into account its features. The main criteria: the location of the house and the relief. If there is no house on the site yet, the task is simplified. For future construction, you can choose the best place.

If you have a house, you will have to adjust the location of the garden, vegetable garden and recreation area. The gentle relief will also simplify the task. With strong relief differences, you will have to choose one of the possible solutions: leveling or use it as the main feature and “highlight” of the site.

Drawing up a plan-scheme of a country project

It should be remembered that the plan is not drawn up in advance without visiting the site. When developing a primary plan, the main factors affecting the location of individual zones are taken into account:

  1. Buildings that are already on the site. The house is the central building, they are repelled from its location when planning the placement of a recreation area.
  2. The boundaries of the site, the location of the entrance and entrance. It is important to consider the type of gate: swing or sliding. It depends on how much space you have to allocate additionally so that the gate can open freely.
  3. Communications. The plan displays: water supply, electric cable, gas pipeline, sewerage. Trees cannot be planted near utility lines, so it is important to accurately display them on the plan.
  4. Plants. It is necessary to divide trees and shrubs into groups: those that cannot be transplanted and they will remain in place, those that can be transplanted and those that can be cut down.
  5. Soil type. Loose clay soil requires additional strengthening of the foundation of buildings and the allocation of space for a vegetable garden and flower beds.

When placing a plan-scheme on paper, the south-north direction should be strictly observed. On the sheet, ut is at the bottom, north is at the top.

Breakdown of the site into zones

There are mandatory areas: house, garage (if you have a car). The rest are selected depending on personal needs and preferences. Most often in suburban areas are placed:

In addition to the standard zoning, additional decorative zones can be placed in the country house, for example, a winter garden. But this is possible only in large areas with relatively flat terrain.

Ideas and ready-made solutions: mandatory components of a summer cottage

A traditional Russian summer cottage, where it is comfortable to relax, must have a house, a bathhouse and a garage. The bath should be located so that it is not visible from the street and as close as possible to the house. Near the bath it is convenient to place a barbecue and a gazebo. If the plot is large, a flower bed or flower garden is usually laid out next to the gazebo. For the garden, a place is allocated in the lower zone of the site, behind the gazebo.

Fruit trees are planted behind the house, grouping them in the left or right corner. It is better not to stretch the garden and plant them in a square. The main decorative elements must be placed on the side of the facade. Ideally, if you manage to break the flower beds under the windows or at a distance, but so that they can be seen from the windows.

Budget minimalism: how to cut costs

The budget may be limited, but it is not necessary to restrain the imagination. You can save on clearance with:

You cannot reduce the budget on materials for buildings. This is an imaginary savings: cheap materials are short-lived and you will have to make regular repairs so that the finish does not lose its original appearance.

Entrance: door trim

The door and the space around it is responsible for the first impression of the cottage, therefore, it needs special design. Most often, doors and a fence are decorated with climbing perennials.

But if the fence does not allow this, you can get by with hanging flower pots. Other popular decorating options include trimmed trees (planted on either side of doors) or lanterns.

Backyard: arrangement of free territory

Arranging the backyard provides the greatest scope for experimentation. Here you can create a "wild garden" by planting decorative varieties of plants. You can also equip a pond or bulk platform. The backyard with a flat terrain is ideal for arranging a playground for active games: football, basketball, table tennis.

How to set up a place to stay

Verandas and gazebos are considered as the main types of recreation areas. The veranda can be open (without walls) or closed (with dense walls that cover the area from wind and rain). The type of veranda depends on what type of recreation the owners of the cottage are used to. For those who like to spend evenings on the veranda, a closed type with windows is more suitable - this will allow you not to give up your favorite pastime even in winter.

The open veranda allows you to have tea parties only in summer.

The gazebo is actually a separate open veranda. This is a small building with a dense roof and carved walls. The gazebo does not shelter from the cold, but copes with rainy weather. This type of recreation area is suitable for those who like to spend time outdoors, surrounded by greenery.

Garden and garden in the country

It is not advisable to plant a large garden in the country. Fruit trees take up a lot of space, and you can harvest a sufficient amount of crop from several trees, subject to regular care. For a classic garden is enough:

  • 1-2 apple trees;
  • 1 cherry;
  • 1 pear;
  • 1 cherry;
  • 1 peach;
  • 2-3 currant bushes;

A good addition would be a bed with strawberries and a small area with raspberries. It is better to choose varieties that bear fruit 2 times per season. Decorative bushes or trees are an optional element; it is more practical to replace them with weaving perennials.

The country garden is a space for imagination. But it is important to consider 2 points: the shape and location of the beds and the proximity of individual plant varieties. Square beds are not convenient: they take up a lot of space, and it is difficult to process them - you won’t be able to reach the center from the edge. It is better to choose oval or oblong beds. Light-loving plants should be placed closer to the center, and shade-loving and cool plants should be placed closer to the fence.

Tracks: the principle of location and shape

The location of the tracks must be provided immediately, at the stage of drawing up the plan. The main paths lead from the entrance to the house, from the house to other buildings and along the central garden alley.

Paths cannot be drawn, focusing only on their own aesthetic views. All curves should be motivated and look natural. Having drawn a path on the plan, you need to rotate it and see if it overlaps with others. There should be no sharp corners at the intersections, it is desirable that the intersections be proportional. The maximum allowable slope angle is 12 cm per 1 m. If the relief difference is greater, you need to make steps.

The material for the track is selected depending on its purpose: basic, walking, decorative. The more often it is supposed to walk on it, the stronger and more durable the material should be.

MAFs and other decorative elements: how to decorate a site

MAfas (small architectural forms) include decorative elements that do not have a practical function, performing only the role of decorations. MAFs include:

  • fences;
  • conversations;
  • flower beds;
  • bridges;
  • rotundas;
  • benches;
  • monuments;
  • awnings;
  • hedge.

For the manufacture of MAFs, wood and sculptural material are used. You can create them yourself or buy ready-made ones in gardening supply stores.

Country fence decoration

Various decorative elements are used for decoration: lamps, decorative rock, garden sculptures. Ornamental trees, flowerbeds and ampelous plants belong to the vegetable decorations of the garden. Experienced gardeners recommend choosing the latter.

Flowers are called ampelous with long stem which are planted in hanging pots. Unlike hedges, they are mobile: pots can be moved or removed at any time. Popular ampelous plants include surfinia, lobelia, petunia.

Decoration of flower beds and flower beds

A simple and profitable design method is the “chintz garden” technique. To create it, perennial flowers of contrasting colors are used. They bloom almost simultaneously and delight the eye all season. The shape of the flower bed can be any, but oval looks neater. The frames of the flower bed must be delineated: brick, stone or slate.

Original alpine hill with conifers

Alpine slide is a type of flower bed that has several levels. Decorate it with conifers - original idea, allowing you to create an almost eternal flower bed in one season. For an alpine slide, decorative thujas and spruces, junipers are suitable. Choose tall plants not worth it: they will spoil the structure of the slide.

How to furnish a small area

To visually make a small area larger, you need to use the techniques of space curvature:

  • light colors;
  • smooth lines;
  • more lamps;
  • minimum plantings.

It is better if the fence is not solid, but lattice. This will add lightness and light to the site.

How to make a long section harmonious

If there is not yet a house on the elongated site, it is planned to place it at the far end of the site. Trees and flower beds are planted in front of the house. Outbuildings are taken out to the fence, placing them on one side. The path from the gate to the house should be winding. The central part of the site can be left under the lawn or beds with undersized plants can be laid out. All high plantings are best moved to the fences.

closed type has 2 subtypes: with horizontal closure and vertical closure. In the horizontal version, the inspection of the space is partially difficult and is blocked only from above (for example, loose crowns of trees). Vertical option closes the space with "walls" - crowns of trees, shrubs, lattice. All structures on the site are of a closed type of spatial structure.

open type is a plane not occupied by solid elements. These include: reservoirs, lawns, flower beds with undersized plants, paved areas. Open space can be enclosed (surrounded on all sides) or inverted (closed on one side).

What are viewpoints and what are they for?

The view point is the area on which a person stands, examining a landscape picture.

viewpoint is the center from which the view opens. When a person moves from one zone to another, the viewpoint changes. But the landscape canvas itself remains intact. It is necessary to select the central view point (from which the entire area is viewed) and points in each zone. Additional points often include:

  • garden gate;
  • porch of the house;
  • recreation area.

Having identified the center of the landscape picture and the main viewpoints, you need to check how they fit together. From each point, a view of the accent should open: a building, a tree, a decorative element. If they are not, you need to add these elements to the plan.

On the bank of the river, our friends purchased an abandoned plot of land, which is a wasteland covered with bumps and bumps, overgrown with bushes and weeds.

Landscaping

Four years of hard work made it possible to build a country house with all urban amenities and turn the surrounding area into a piece of paradise.

house project, internal organization and landscaping was carried out by the owner of the summer cottage on her own. Since the summer cottage was created for recreation in the summer, most of the land was set aside for a green lawn and flower beds.

Only a small part of the land in the far corner behind the house was used to install a greenhouse and beds for growing greenery. Currant bushes and apple trees with plums were also planted.

In order for the paths to be dry and clean in rainy weather, they were paved paving slabs elevated above ground level. As a result, it became possible to walk around the territory of the summer cottage even in indoor slippers.

A wide path was made for the entire length of the suburban area from the gate, which ends with a canopy without walls, intended for parking a car. The canopy allows not only to protect the car from precipitation and solar radiation, but also to do household chores under it in rainy weather.

A garage shed of this design is successful design solution, as it does not obstruct the view and fits well into the overall design of the suburban area.

The owners of the summer cottage are very hospitable people. Relatives and friends often visit them. Thanks to the wide walkway from the gate, up to six cars can be accommodated in the yard at once.

A strip of land was left between the fence and a wide path, on which flowers and spruce forests were planted.

Along the opposite side of the path and a green lawn, there is also a flower bed.

All paths are made of paving slabs of gray and red color. A narrow path leads from the wide road to the house.

Before front door a spacious open veranda overlooking the river was built in the country house. It has a table and chairs. After visiting the steam room on the veranda on summer evenings, in any weather, it is very pleasant to dine with soft drinks and barbecue in the company of friends.

On the summer cottage, before the construction of the house, an outbuilding was built, consisting of three separate rooms with doors. Two entrances are equipped with a small common porch with a canopy. One of the rooms has a window overlooking the river. It has a bed with a bedside table for overnight guests. The second room is windowless and serves as a workshop, while the third is used to store inventory and tools.

Next to the utility house, opposite the veranda, there is a platform covered with paving slabs for frying shish kebabs on the grill. Nearby there is a place for a mobile garden rocking sofa.

Flower beds and flower beds

Considering the above published photos, you probably noticed that almost all, even the smallest plots of land between the paths have flower beds and flower beds. The hostess of the summer cottage fantastically loves flowers, and is ready to deal with them tirelessly from morning to evening, which, by the way, does all her free time.

The pride of the owner of the summer cottage is a spacious green lawn. Although it often has to be cut, there is a place for children to run barefoot, play ball games and badminton.

A low fence with a gate in the center separates the summer cottage from the public area. There is a flower bed in front of the fence, separated from the path by wooden chocks. In addition to flowers, Christmas trees were planted in the flowerbed, each of which was planted in honor of one of the granddaughters and named after them. Children will grow up and watch how spruces grow with them. It will be very interesting for children.

Marigold flowers are planted along the low fence from the side of the river. On the left side of it, next to the canopy, there is a box with a tight lid for the disposal of food waste and garbage of plant origin.

Almost the entire area not occupied by a green lawn, a greenhouse and a small vegetable garden is planted with spruce forests and flowers.

The corners between the paths are beautifully decorated with paving slabs. Inconspicuous, but tasteful.

A flower garden in the form of an alpine hill decorates the edge of the grassy lawn. Original composition and harmonious combination different colors in combination with boulders and pebbles is admirable. Pictured is the view from the second floor. country house.

The flowerbed of the alpine hill view is not symmetrical, and when you look at it from different sides, a completely different composition of flowers opens up.

And in this photo, on the site of last year's alpine slide, a new one has been created, which has larger size and with a different design. For a detailed review, I decided to present close-up photographs of plants and flowers.

In the photo, a perennial, unpretentious to the soil, sun-loving cinquefoil is golden, with beautiful yellow flowers growing on an alpine hill. The plant is not afraid of frost, and Potentilla tea has medicinal properties. Golden cinquefoil begins to bloom, usually in the second half of summer.

And this is thyme (creeping thyme), popularly called "Bogorodskaya grass". Thyme is a very beautiful perennial plant with a noble aroma, which has about 400 species. There are different colors. Thyme is also medicinal plant. Blooms from early June to late July. Thyme is great for creating alpine slides.

This flower is called a stone rose, a relative of cacti, which has nothing in common with ordinary roses, except that rosettes are similar in shape, and the leaves are on the edges. Pink colour. The Latin name is Sempervivum, which means "always alive." Unpretentious beautiful perennial plant with fleshy leaves, odorless. Ideal for alpine slides.

Heather is an evergreen low-growing perennial (grows up to 30 years), a shrub plant and blooms in our latitudes from July-August until late autumn. Heather is a light-loving plant, and with enough sun, the flowers are saturated with color and do not fall off for a long time. Excellent honey plant and bees never fly by. The flowers are small, lilac or lilac-pink. The bushes grow to a height of 60 cm. Heather is the national flower of Norway, as Heather fields cover more than half of the country's area.

The dwarf mountain pine jacobsen has a beautiful decorative form and surprises with its fluffiness. The needles are not prickly and it is pleasant to touch them with your hands. This coniferous plant is unpretentious to the soil and grows in any conditions, loves the sun, is not afraid of frost. The height of an adult plant does not exceed 40 cm, which makes the mountain pine an ideal conifer for alpine slides.

Due to the unusual red color of the leaves, it is very popular among gardeners. perennial flower Geichera. Garden geyher is the fruit of the work of American breeders. Geichera doesn't like straight lines sun rays and grows best in the shade of other plants.

The flowering time of Geichera depends on the ambient temperature and light. Due to the bright red color of the leaves and beautiful flowers Geuchera is great in combination with other plants to create alpine slides. It is better to plant Geykhera in the shade from conifers or other flowers, so that the rays of the sun fall on it only at sunrise or sunset.

This is another variety coniferous plants. Unfortunately, I do not know the scientific name of this Christmas tree.

The gray Canadian spruce Konica (Conica) comes from Canada. The dwarf variety grows in ten years to a height of only one meter. This is a very beautiful conifer, it grows perfectly, like an ordinary spruce, in our latitudes.

It is probably not necessary to imagine a lily flower. Lily is the oldest known flower, the flower of purity and purity. There are thousands of legends about Lily. The lily is considered the flower of kings. Everyone knows and loves this beautiful flower. Pictured is Canadian Lily.

In this photo, too, a lily, only bright red.

Roses are perhaps the most popular flowers for expressing the feelings of the giver. Thanks to the variety of shades of rosebuds, they were "taught" to convey attitude without words. A scarlet rose or a bouquet is given when expressing romantic love and passion, a donated red rose bud expresses confusion, a tender attitude is emphasized by a pale pink bouquet of roses. It is customary to give a dark pink bouquet as a token of gratitude.

Astilbe is unpretentious frost-resistant perennial plant with bright red flowers. There are varieties that bloom in other colors. The flowers can reach a height of 60 cm and rise beautifully above low-growing grass and other flowers.

Pansies are popularly called violet tricolor. These pretty flowers seem to be looking at us. Pansies are one of the most unpretentious colors to environmental conditions, bloom from early spring to late autumn.

The combination of colors of Pansies petals tends to infinity. This is one of the gardeners' favorite flowers.

Cannes are exotic flowers for our latitudes. The flowers are very beautiful, and in one flower the petals can be of different colors. Cannes are excellent flowers for decorating a summer cottage.

And this flower Gatsania liked the bee, and she collects nectar. Gatsania, or gazania, is a South African flower that looks like a Russian chamomile. Flowers appear from July and delight the eye until the end of the season. The flower loves an abundance of sunlight and has an attractive appearance.

The Gatsania flower has the color scheme of sunlight, and therefore it is difficult to look away from it.

Arranging a summer cottage with your own hands is a process that can safely be called continuous. Every year, when we come outside the city, we find many objects that deserve our close attention: here we need to fix a rickety fence, here we need to lay a path, and here it would be nice to equip a flower bed.

And although a whole encyclopedia may not be enough to describe every detail of this process, below we will try to collect a number of the most useful advice. By following them, you can streamline your work and significantly increase their efficiency. So there is still time to relax!

Dividing the cottage into zones

Before you equip a summer cottage, you need to conditionally divide its area into functional zones. Of course, it is desirable to do this even at the design stage, but to restore order in the country, which is actively exploited, this will also not be superfluous.

Experts identify three main areas:

  • Residential, including a house and adjoining territory . Here, communications (water, electricity, sewerage), paths and access roads, as well as the features of the building itself, are priority. The main factors that you should pay attention to will be comfort and safety.
  • Recreational - everything related to recreation (active and not so). Perhaps, examples of arranging a summer cottage here will be the most diverse, ranging from terraces and lawns to outdoor exercise equipment, basketball courts, tennis courts, etc.

  • Gardening. This can include both a front garden with flowers and an alpine slide in front of the house, and a greenhouse with outbuildings for inventory. However, the main part of this zone is, of course, the garden and beds, which can be considered an integral part of almost every dacha.

When we equip a summer cottage with our own hands, we should visually separate these zones from each other, arranging them so that they do not intersect. In this case, our stay outside the city will turn out to be much more comfortable, since we can easily switch from one type of activity to another, and at the same time we will not interfere with each other.

Adjoining territory

We will try to limit ourselves to only the most important ones, and start with those that directly relate to the area near the house:

  • One of the key points that you should pay attention to will be the arrangement of the entrance to the summer cottage. For this purpose, either a gravel platform is usually equipped (layer thickness from 50 cm, fraction 25-35 mm), or monolithic slab concrete/asphalt. The price of the second option is much higher, but the concrete pavement is much easier to keep clean.

Note!
An important element of the entrance area is a drainage ditch, which ensures the removal of rainwater.

  • The area in front of the house is usually connected to all other objects on the site through paths.. Do-it-yourself arrangement of paths for a summer cottage can take place along the most different schemes. The cheapest option is gravel filling, but if your financial capabilities allow it, then you can lay out all the paths with paving slabs on a sand cushion or a concrete monolithic base.

  • Also in the local area stands from the rain. It can cover only a small area in front of the porch, or it can cover the entire site, including a car parking space. Typically, such canopies are mounted on steel supports, and translucent polycarbonate is used as a coating.
  • An important factor providing comfort will be the lighting of the local area.. Naturally, this requires a stable power supply, and renting a diesel generator for a summer residence will help here: even if the electrics are turned off, you will not be left without light.

Rest zone

If you do not know where to start planning a recreational site, then we recommend that you think about creating:

  • For this purpose, we allocate a small area that neither the house nor tall trees will shade. If necessary, we bring fertile soil to the site, carefully level it and sow it with lawn grasses.

Note!
Lawn grasses are resistant to trampling, but they must be cut regularly.

  • You can also break an alpine slide on such a site. We lay out its basis from natural stone: limestone is best, granite or quartzite is somewhat worse. We fill the gaps between the stones with fertile soil, in which we plant plants.
  • Finally, if you have a large area empty, then you can make a pond on it. Of course, you will have to work hard to dig out and concrete the bowl itself, because today special plastic containers that are installed flush with the ground are gaining popularity.

Garden

When deciding how to equip a small summer cottage, many of us focus on exactly the part where vegetables and fruits can be grown.

This approach can be considered quite rational, but here it is worth adhering to a number of recommendations:

  • First, the beds must be placed in such a way that there is enough light for them. That is why trees are usually planted in the immediate vicinity of the country house, and the garden is planted at a distance - so it will not be shaded throughout the day.

Note!
This does not apply to shade-loving plants: for them, the site is usually assigned either next to the garden, or generally under the crowns of trees.

  • Especially carefully you need to choose a place to install greenhouses. In addition to a sufficient amount of sunlight, this area should be protected from the wind, especially in the spring.
  • The beds themselves should be separated from the paths with boards made of boards or plastic shields: this way the black earth will not be lost, and we will put much less dirt into the recreation area and into the house.

  • To ensure sufficiently abundant watering during the dry season, it is worth considering such an option as arranging a well in a summer cottage. Despite all the labor costs associated with this event, it can be considered justified: in this way we will not only provide ourselves with high-quality water for drinking and irrigation, but also insure against water supply shutdowns, which usually occur at the most inopportune moment.
  • Well, if growing vegetables is a serious enough hobby for you, then it’s worth equipping your own in the garden. pumping station. Such an installation will make it possible to both water the beds with a hose and mount an economical, but effective system drip irrigation.

Conclusion

Options for arranging a summer cottage, as well as recommendations for the implementation of certain works, can be listed endlessly. The main thing here is to understand what exactly we want from our dacha, plan the work and begin the systematic implementation of our project. It may take more than one year, but if we are guided by tips like those set out in the video in this article, then we will definitely succeed.

The article will discuss how to start arranging a summer cottage, how to properly conduct zoning, what principles of arrangement to use when organizing separate zones. Photos and videos of finished works will allow you to visually see the stages of solving the described problem.

For many, the acquisition suburban area- an event joyful and troublesome at the same time. On the one hand, the family has a place to relax, on the other hand, it is difficult to organize the space around the house so that the rest is pleasant and comfortable. To begin with, you will have to work hard and sweat a lot. And in order for all this not to be in vain, it is important to know where to start arranging the land, how to competently approach this issue. When solving it, experts advise adhering to the following plan.

Proper planning

At this stage, the main thing is not to rush. You need to come to the site in the daytime, photograph it from different angles, mark its perimeter on a piece of paper and note the exact dimensions. Then, schematically, it is necessary to place the main functional areas on it. At the same time, in addition to your personal wishes, it is also important to consider:

    peculiarities relief of the territory;

    location sides of the world;

    depth occurrence of groundwater;

    compound and soil type.

Exploring the site's capabilities Source geopnz.ru

Determining the composition of the soil is easy. To do this, you need to take a lump of damp earth and try to roll it into a sausage. If it cracks, it means that there is a lot of sand in the soil, if the sausage is easily wrapped in a bagel, then the soil is clayey. In the first case, clay additives will have to be added before planting, in the second, sand. Drained peatlands are very acidic soil. During the autumn digging, it is necessary to add lime or special additives to it, which can be found in specialized stores.

If groundwater is at a depth of two meters from the surface of the earth, most likely, you will have to abandon the landing fruit trees. Otherwise, you will have to carry out costly and time-consuming work to drain the site.

Knowing the location of the site relative to the cardinal points will be useful for determining the level of illumination. Most fruit and berry plants need a lot of light. If it is not there, it will be necessary to give preference to shade-loving plants during landscaping.

Site plan relative to the cardinal points Source buildinexpert.ru

It is useful to have information about the winds in a particular territorial area. If the site is on a hill, it will be blown from all sides. This will negatively affect such heat-loving crops as apricots and cherries. If it is located in a lowland, the air temperature will always be two to three degrees lower. Some plants react strongly to this.

Experts, talking about how to start landscaping a land plot, advise immediately dividing it into four main zones and designating where the residential building will be located, where the outbuildings will be, where the recreation area and the garden part will be located.

For the construction of a house, you need to allocate about 15% of the total garden area. Designate, taking into account the scale on the project plan, the place where the building will be located, where the front door will go. This is the main reference point for the distribution of other objects. 15% of the land area should also be attributed to a place of rest, it is useful to give the remaining 70% for landscaping. The specified parameters are conditional. To immediately see the big picture, you need to draw up an approximate zoning scheme, approximately the same as shown in the next photo.

On our website you can find contacts of construction companies that offer the service of designing and carrying out landscape works of any complexity. You can directly communicate with representatives by visiting the exhibition of houses "Low-Rise Country".

Such a drawing can be constantly refined. It helps while on a piece of paper to see what will happen in the end. With such a plan, you can already contact landscape designer. But before that, it is important to solve one more question - to choose the style of landscaping. There are many of them today. Everyone has their own principles of construction, their own rules of creation. Various methods are used to implement them. They just help to create a beautiful space around. To facilitate the work of the designer, you must first make a list of what you would like to see on your site and hand it over to a specialist.

Video description

In the video, a specialist talks about how to properly plan a suburban area:

Features of the arrangement of the main zones

When the site is already divided into functional zones, it is worth studying the design rules for each. The house is the central object of any suburban area. It is located near the entrance. This helps to rationally use the remaining space and properly organize its fencing. Even at the construction stage, the installation of all sewer systems is carried out.

House next to the gate Source ochag23.ru

The main entrance must be at least three meters from the gate. This is done for fire safety reasons. Such a technique also helps to delimit housing from the territory of the street and make living in it more comfortable. The area from the gate and front doors is called the entrance area. In a small area, about six square meters. The design of this area should be given special attention. And all because it is he who helps guests create the first impression of the cottage. Designers love to decorate this part of the garden with flowering flower beds, curly shrubs or ornamental trees. A complex composition with a fountain or rockery always looks spectacular.

Household block

Such buildings include a shed where garden tools are stored, a room for firewood or fertilizer, a workshop, an outdoor toilet, a bath complex or a compact shower. It is better to make all these buildings in a single complex and place it in the opposite side of the house, in the northern or northwestern section, and fence it off from other functional areas with branched shrubs or hedges. A screen formed from thuja, bright thickets will look beautiful climbing roses. The house and the utility block should be connected by a wide comfortable path.

Resting-place

When deciding where to start landscaping a summer cottage, it is important to carefully consider the recreation area. Without it, a cottage is not a cottage. Many people go out of town to drink tea in nature, sit with a book in their hands, lie down in a hammock, cook on an open fire. delicious dishes and eat them at a beautifully laid large table, which can accommodate both family members and numerous guests. So that bad weather does not interfere with the planned plan, it is tedious to build a pavilion or a summer gazebo.

If children grow up in the family, it is useful to put a playground nearby. Then it will be possible for adults to relax comfortably and watch their kids at the same time. For small children, you need to set up a swing and build a sandbox; for teenagers, small pools are best suited.

Recreation area in the country Source houzz.es

Such a place should be at a decent distance from the household block and from the garden. A wide path from the house should also go to it. But the space on the sides of it is usually sown with a lawn, flower beds may appear along the paths. And near the gazebo itself, it is necessary to create vertical gardening, install pergolas or cover fences with climbing plants. Solutions look good when flowering vines are used for the designated purposes. To create a cozy atmosphere, you can break streams next to the gazebo, make small man-made waterfalls.

garden plot

More recently, the dacha was a place for growing fruit crops. Today, much has changed, but the love of gardening continues to live in the hearts of residents of big cities. Designers, given such predilections, have long developed techniques that help make the garden part of landscape design. They advise planting garden trees right in front of the windows of the house, at a short distance from them (3-4 m). Over time, the crown will grow and form a natural protection from the rays of the scorching sun. In the northern regions, it is better to plant trees away from home. Then it will warm up well.

Trees should be planted from north to south, leaving a distance of three meters between adjacent plantings. Along the entire perimeter, you need to create a tiered vertical gardening (from large to small). This principle is clearly demonstrated by the following photo.

For the beds you need to allocate the sunniest site. You can organize landings on it in different ways. But it is important to choose plant varieties taking into account the climate in this particular area. If you manage to organize the beds in the form of neat rectangles or circles, give them smooth outlines, you can create a very beautiful decorative corner. If this stage of work seems difficult, it is better to entrust its implementation to professionals. They know how to start arranging a summer cottage from scratch, how to organize an irrigation and irrigation system, how to properly allocate territories and choose plants for planting.

Generalization on the topic

Before you start planning, you need to decide on the purpose of using personal plot. It is not necessary to place all the objects that were listed in the article on it. If a person has a great desire to grow a large garden, he does not need to think about where to set up flower beds and build a pond. Anyone who comes to the dacha for recreation can refuse to set up a garden and completely give up the adjacent territory for the implementation of any one stylistic concept of landscape design. Own preferences, that's what you need to be guided by when developing a project plan.
