Modern and comfortable material- drywall is used so often that rarely in any apartment you will not find elements with its use. As a rule, it is used for finishing walls and ceilings, but the properties of the material make it possible not only to level the surfaces.

Of course, lovers of minimal frills in repairs will use it simply as finishing material to hide the mistakes of the builders who finished the housing. But with the skillful use of fantasy and modern options design, you can make walls in an original way, and even curvilinear plasterboard ceilings.

Many will be surprised - why make something crooked that is already so skewed? However, this is not entirely true, because flaws in construction and intentional design are completely different things.

Drywall Features

Sheet building material won the market and won the trust of consumers for a reason. The thing is that drywall is so easy to process and inexpensive at a price that it can be used for various repair work not only pleasure, but also a real benefit.

Note!
Gypsum with various additives, depending on the purpose, framed on both sides with extra-strong cardboard, is environmentally friendly and very durable.
Cardboard has a reinforcing effect, holding the plaster together and preventing it from crumbling. The material is produced in different options, its qualities depend on the destination.

GKL types

  1. Ceiling. This is the thinnest material, designed specifically for leveling and mounting the top of the room.
    If you are planning a plasterboard ceiling - a wave, then this variety is just worth buying. The fact is that the ceilings should not be weighed down. Therefore, the lightest and thinnest material in this case is just right.
  2. wall. These are thicker sheets designed for finishing and leveling walls. The flexibility of the material makes it possible to make rounded shapes. It is this type that will help you to decorate niches, arches, the most intricate designs.
  3. moisture resistant. Thanks to special, antifungal additives, gypsum acquires properties that repel moisture. This is especially important when decorating a bathroom, bath, pool and other rooms with high humidity.
  4. fire retardant. In places with an increased risk of fire, it is recommended to use drywall impregnated with a composition that prevents fire. It will not light up and will be as safe as possible in unexpected situations.

Material Flexibility

Properties drywall sheets are such that they allow you to make not only straight lines in the plane of the form. When wet, the material is able to bend, which makes it possible to make even a plasterboard wave ceiling, an original design, unusual in any form.

Moreover, after drying, it will retain its shape. The cardboard framing the core will prevent the material from crumbling. Therefore, ceilings created in this way will last a very long time without the need for restoration. How to make such an original ceiling?

Mounting process

First you need to make calculations and assemble the cover frame.

Preliminary work

  1. It is necessary to make preliminary. The fact is that a wave-like ceiling requires a minimum of two levels. It is very convenient to make marks by applying a circle of the desired diameter to the first level.
    A suspension can serve as the middle, and a twine with a pencil tied to it can serve as a kind of compass. Note that marking is easier on the floor when the sheets are not yet raised to the ceiling.
  2. Note that in apartments with low ceilings, the so-called "Khrushchev", structures with elements of more than two levels should not be created.
    Since each level takes an average of 10 - 15 cm, the ceiling can drop to head level, and few people will like it. Therefore, take measurements with the calculation of data in your apartment.
  3. More material will be required on the wavy surface of the ceiling, so after measuring the area of \u200b\u200bthe ceiling, add about half of the result to the result.
    To make a curved plasterboard ceiling, you will need additional suspensions. They are needed to attach additional.
  4. After calculations and marking along the perimeter of the walls, the main, supporting profile is attached. The first level of the ceiling will be attached to it. This is done using self-tapping screws, checking the evenness of the plane with the help of a level.

Ceiling Assembly

  1. When installing the first level, lighting fixtures must be installed. If you forget to do the wiring and installation, then you will have to disassemble the entire structure.
  2. The height differences of the waves or patterns should be from 1.2 cm to 15 cm, otherwise you risk having a loose attachment to the frame. Do not get carried away with a sharp drop in levels, because the desired effect can be obtained with a minimum run-up.
  3. When you make a curvilinear drywall ceiling, be sure to pay attention to where the waves are attached. Special accents should be made on them, so the waves are screwed to the frame especially carefully.
  4. It is most convenient to bend sheets on the floor, wetting them on one side with water. You can use a brush-maclavica, cutting drywall for better moisture impregnation. This method is well suited for making sufficiently large waves in the design of the ceiling.
  5. If you have small drops, or a slight wave of drywall on the ceiling, wetting the sheets of material on one side, it is advisable to walk on them with a needle roller. Thus, you will pierce the cardboard, and the plaster will absorb moisture evenly. Now the material can be bent, and then wait until the wave is fixed.
  6. It is worth noting in particular that for

A figured ceiling will help to diversify the interior and give the room individuality. To form the structure, tension fabrics and suspension systems made of metal profiles and plasterboard sheets are used. You can combine options, achieving solutions to the most complex design problems. We will understand the features of the arrangement of the system and the possibility of building ceiling structures with our own hands.

Figured ceilings are called multi-level structures, complemented by elements of complex shape: waves, circles, abstractions or geometric shapes. The same type includes tension systems with multi-color or multi-texture canvases.

Features and advantages of ceilings:

  1. Aesthetic look. Due to the variety of shapes, sizes, textures, you can create beautiful patterns on the ceiling.
  2. Visual expansion, space zoning. Properly chosen lighting color solution helps to fill the room with air, to highlight one or another zone. The decor option must be chosen carefully: multi-level structures in rooms with a low ceiling “compress” the space.
  3. Ability to hide under suspension system base irregularities, engineering Communication, electrical wiring system, heaters, insulating materials.
  4. Strength, durability. Subject to the installation rules, the design will serve for a long time. And if the ceiling becomes morally obsolete, the GKL sheets are simply dismantled, which means that you can renovate the interior without any problems.
  5. Stretch fabrics and drywall with high moisture-resistant properties will protect against leaks from above.
  6. Sound insulation, thermal insulation of premises during the arrangement of suspended, tension structures of figured type increases significantly.

There are also disadvantages:

  • complexity of installation;
  • increase in material costs;
  • reduction in room height.

Advice! Before equipping figured plasterboard ceilings, you need to check the strength basic design. Metal profiles and plasterboards have a mass that loose walls and ceilings, especially in old houses, simply cannot withstand.

Variants of figured plasterboard ceilings

Despite the variety of forms, the following options are popular:

  1. Geometric figures. It can be rectangles, squares, circles. For example, the general plane of the ceiling is tightened around the perimeter (rectangle), and a circle or oval is formed in the center. You can divide the entire surface into squares, highlighting individual zones with illumination.
  2. Oval or semicircle. These are forms for living rooms, bedrooms. The bed area stands out in a semicircle, and the illuminated oval will emphasize the central part of the living room.
  3. curvilinear shapes, waves are performed in a variety of ways. For example, waves as a frame of the entire perimeter or separation of zones, zigzags with level differences in the nursery - a visual difference between working and play area And so on.
  4. Figured ceilings in the form of flowers, plants or complex patterns. This is a decorative technique that emphasizes the stylistic decision of the room. Such texture of the ceiling requires great skill, without fail it is emphasized by lighting and different color schemes.

Advice! For finishing decoration ceiling surface wallpaper, fabrics, paints are used from GKL. Lighting devices are selected taking into account the characteristics of the coating: without heating the surface.

Drafting a drywall ceiling plan

Before making a figured plasterboard ceiling, it is necessary to mark the base and prepare it for the installation process. First, the strength of the base base is evaluated: remove pieces of plaster, paint, whitewash and wallpaper that fall off, clean the surface to a dense layer. It is better to close up the overlap gaps, if necessary, treat the surface with biological protection compounds - this will prevent the development of mold.

Now work on drawing up a plan and markup:

  1. Measure the length of each room with a tape measure, transfer the data to the drawing. This is necessary to calculate the volume of purchases of materials.
  2. Divide the entire plane of the ceiling into cells of 60x60 cm. These will be the attachment points of the ceiling profile.
  3. Draw in separate lines the borders of the levels of the figured ceiling. You need to use reference points: the center of the plane (room), one of the corners - from these points it is more convenient to count all lengths, mark the areas for mounting elements.
  4. Along the lines of the frame with a step of 20-40 cm, mark the points of the fasteners of the suspensions. The step should be small, since figured ceilings have a heavier mass than conventional suspended structures.
  5. Mark the location of the backlight, measure the desired length of the wiring, mark its location on the plan.

As soon as the plan on paper is ready, it must be copied to the ceiling. It is most convenient to draw the floor in the room, and then transfer all the parameters to the base ceiling base - it is easier to adjust the parameters if an error occurs somewhere.

How to mark the ceiling:

  • find the lowest corner of the room, set aside a distance from it equal to the height of the profile and the thickness of the plasterboard, taking into account the fact that the distance between the ceiling and the upper tier should be 4-10 cm;
  • if there are protrusions or irregularities in the base surface, the distance is lowered taking into account the size of these defects;
  • the gap between the levels of frames 1 and 2 of the figured ceiling system is at least 5 cm;
  • set aside the desired distance first in the lowest corner of the room, then move the marks in all corners;
  • connect the points in a line along the entire perimeter - this is the boundary of the profile attachment;
  • mark the points of placement of suspensions on the ceiling;
  • mark the fastening points of the guide profile on the walls;
  • use a pencil to draw the boundaries of the levels of the figured ceiling with the expectation of reference points (as in your diagram).

If the installation of a figured drywall ceiling involves the formation of circles, they are drawn like this: determine the center point of the circle and screw in the screw. From the self-tapping screw, pull the fishing line with a pencil at the other end and draw any necessary circles, semicircles with this “compass”.

Installation of a frame from a profile

You should first buy the necessary metal profiles:

  • ceiling profile PP 60/27 (CD) 275, 300, 450 cm long - the main frame element;
  • guide profile NP 27x27 (UD) 275, 340, 450 cm long - mounted on the walls of the room;
  • arched profile 60x27 (PA) 275, 340, 450 cm long for fastening curved elements;
  • notched guide profile 28x27 (NP28/27) 275, 340, 450 cm long is used as an arched profile.

You will need dowel-nails, self-tapping screws, U-shaped suspensions, crabs, corner and multi-level connectors, as well as tools: a puncher, a screwdriver, a laser level, a tape measure, metal scissors, a brush, a set of spatulas. GKL sheets, serpyanka, putty, primer for a deep penetration ceiling are useful from materials.

The work algorithm is as follows:

  1. According to the marks on the ceiling and walls, drill holes for suspensions. Insert dowels.
  2. Bend the edges of the U-shaped hangers, place the elements for the upper frame according to the marks.
  3. Insert the ceiling profile of the first tier into the guides. Fasteners on self-tapping screws with a short leg.
  4. Install jumpers on the left and right sides of the profile. Connection by crabs to the main PP profile.
  5. Cut a straight profile into elements of the desired size - these are vertical racks for the transition of tiers from upper to lower. Fastening to the frame of the upper tier with multi-level connectors.
  6. The frame of the lower level of a round or curvilinear shape should be made from a guide profile. The element is trimmed at regular intervals, then bent to form.
  7. Fasten the curved lamella to the connectors to the upper posts. Then between the lamella and the lower guide profile (already mounted on the wall), insert the CD profile. Fastening the CD profile to the fragments of the frame of the upper tier - this will be more reliable.
  8. Install jumpers on the frame of the lower tier.

Important! If the surface of the ceiling is even, then you can make a frame only for the curly (lower) tier. After arranging the frame, do not forget to lay all the wires, it is better to place them in corrugated sleeves - this must be done before sheathing the ceiling with plasterboard sheets.

Fixing drywall sheets

Installation of solid GKL sheets on a plane is not difficult and difficult: clamp it into clamps or rely on assistants, screw it with self-tapping screws.

Attention! To make it easier to seal seams and joints, you first need to chamfer adjacent elements by 2/3 of the sheet thickness. A planer or a sharp knife will come in handy.

When installing sheets, refer to the diagram: if the GKL lies along the border between the levels, it is pre-cut. It will not be superfluous to pre-make holes for spotlights. But the installation of curved plasterboard ceilings with curved stripes can be difficult.

In order not to spoil the sheet, it is cut or moistened:

  1. Notches are made on the reverse side of the material strip. You should be careful when cutting through only the cardboard layer and the gypsum layer to a depth of no more than 0.5 cm. The outer layer of the cardboard must remain intact. Now the strip can be bent little by little, giving it the desired shape.
  2. Moisturizing is the easier option. To do this, the strip must be rolled on the reverse side with a spiked roller, then slightly moistened. The needles pierce the cardboard skin, wetting the inner layer. Now you need to bend the strip, lay it on the frame, carefully fix it - when it dries, the structure remains in the given shape.

As soon as the work on sewing up the entire frame with sheets is completed, all the lighting devices are connected and tested for work, the puttying stage begins. All caps of fasteners and seams are smeared with the composition.

Serpyanka is used to reinforce the seams. It is necessary to put putty on the seam, lay a piece of sickle so that the seam is located in the middle of the tape, press the tape a little into the composition and putty again on top, achieving a leveling of the surface. This is where a spatula with a wide blade comes in handy. After the putty has dried, sand the surface with fine sandpaper, remove dust and prime.

After processing, you can decorate the ceiling with any materials: wallpaper, paint, fabric.

Stretch and combined curly ceilings

The combined ceiling is a combination of a suspended and tension structure. There may be a tension first tier, and the lower one is suspended, lined with wallpaper or painted in the desired color.

There are curly stretch ceilings:

  • multi-level - similar in technology to arrangement with suspended structures;
  • wavy - the surface looks like a combination of convex elements and depressions, which gives the surface texture;
  • domed - several canvases are a sphere or a cone;
  • arched - the canvas is stretched in the form of a three-dimensional arch.

Forms are achieved by using aluminum baguettes of complex design. Baguettes are supplemented with cuts at the fold points, exactly like profiles for GKL sheets. Fastening a bent baguette to screws and dowels, suspensions are also used, as for ceiling profiles.

The wave-like shape is achieved by using a curved frame, which serves as a support for the tension fabric.

Installation work is carried out as follows:

  • cut the aluminum baguette at the points indicated on the reverse side, bend;
  • install a baguette on wall panels or ceiling base;
  • warm the room up to +70 C with a heat gun;
  • also warm up the film to 40 C;
  • pull the cloth, fixing it in the corners, it is possible on temporary suspensions;
  • put the film behind the baguette with a spatula, fix it around the perimeter of the room.

As soon as the film begins to cool, it will stretch and take the shape given by the design of the baguette. But it is important to understand that stretch ceilings of complex curvilinear shapes cause installation difficulties and take up more space than combined options or suspended ceiling structures. Therefore, it is recommended to stretch the canvas in spacious rooms.

And another version of the figured ceiling, which is used very rarely - fabric drapery. Used for decoration suspended structures, but requires special care and experience.

It is the most acceptable due to the achievement of ideal surface evenness and the creation of complex, curvilinear, as well as multi-level forms and structures. Such ceilings minimal cost allow to realize the most exquisite interiors with an indescribable play of acoustics and light, as well as to hide engineering communications (wiring, pipes, ventilation) from prying eyes.

The use of curved plasterboard ceilings allows you to realize the most sophisticated interiors, as well as hide engineering communications from prying eyes.

Subtleties of markup

Curved plasterboard ceilings are multi-level ceilings with a difference in height.

The marking of the future ceiling is performed in 2 stages. First do the markup ceiling with the definition of the lines of the future height difference, the location of the profiles and sheets of drywall of the first level. Next, the markup is transferred to the plane of sheets of the 1st level. A profile will be attached to these sheets, forming curved lines of the shapes of the future ceiling.

The list of markup tools includes:

  1. Compasses for delineating arcs and parts of circles. This tool can be made independently using any straight wooden block or metallic profile. To do this, a screw is attached to one end, and a pencil to the other. You can also use a screw screwed into the ceiling and a rope with a pencil attached to it.
  2. Pencil for marking.
  3. Roulette, ruler, square for marking accuracy.
  4. Special pattern. You can make such a template on the floor. To do this, we use a compass, ruler, tape measure, a sheet of polycarbonate, cardboard or plexiglass as the material of the ceiling template. When using a template, lines can be drawn quickly, clearly and many times.

The marking of the curved ceiling is performed in 2 stages. In the process of marking, all arcs must be connected by straight line segments.

In the process of marking, all arcs must be connected by straight line segments. You can also mark up using a bitmap, which is connected by a smooth and continuous line. The last option is markup "by eye". In this case, a curve is drawn by hand, and future irregularities are supposed to be eliminated using putty.

The difference in height is determined taking into account the height of the ceiling. Often it is in the range from 10 to 35 cm. With a low ceiling height, a difference of 10 cm is used. To do this, you can make a stripe of 2-4 sheets of drywall.

Basic operations for creating curved ceilings

To perform the installation of curved plasterboard ceilings, we need the following tool:

  • knife for cutting drywall;
  • knife-saw for curly cutting;
  • end and edge planer for processing the end part;
  • circular cutter and hole saw for making holes;
  • screwdriver with bits and adapter for driving screws;
  • scissors and cutter for profiles;
  • puncher or impact drill for drilling holes.

From the material we need to have:

  • drywall;
  • ceiling and rack profiles for the frame device;
  • suspensions (direct suspension or wire rod);
  • connectors ("crab", extension connector);
  • dowels, nails, screws.

Using curved ceilings allows not only to expand the range of decoration of new premises, but also to transform the old ones.

List of operations:

  1. We carry out the device of the frame of the first level. At the place where the wave passes, the step of the profiles is reduced to 40 cm, focusing on the pre-applied markings of the overlap. We attach the profile closest to the boundary of the drop to the ceiling every 0.4-0.5 m.
  2. Raise and hem sheets of the 1st level. We make sure that the sheets go beyond the line of passing the border of the future wave. The pitch of the screws should be 25 cm.
  3. We apply the borders of the second level of the ceiling and the border of the wave, we fix the curved profile. For the manufacture of a bent profile, we perform alternate cuts from the inside of the wave with U-shaped slots. We fix the metal profile using self-tapping screws to the ceiling of the 1st level. The waves recede from the line by an amount equal to the thickness of the drywall sheet, and the profile is sewn up.
  4. We carry out the frame of the second level of overlap. The profile pitch is standard with and reduced with a three-level overlap. We hem the ceiling, leaving some margin (1 cm) for further adjustment of the wave.
  5. In the direction of the wave, we fasten the lower profile, exactly along the line of the upper profile. Displacement control is carried out by level. We make the strapping of the upper and lower parts with vertical racks and sew vertical plane drywall. For the curved part, we take a special sheet (6.5 mm) or often cut a standard sheet in its outer part.
  6. We putty the ceiling using gypsum putties.
  7. We paint horizontal and vertical surfaces after complete drying.

Using curved ceilings, you can not only expand the range of solutions for finishing new rooms, but also perform the transformation and reconstruction of old ones.

In the old days people lived in ordinary apartments and simple houses and did not think about the fact that from a simple room you can make a wonderful home for relaxation and life. With the advent of drywall on the market, people's fantasies and ideas began to manifest themselves. Every day more and more nuances are revealed, for which you can make curvilinear plasterboard ceilings at home.

Design and decoration of a curved plasterboard ceiling When working with drywall, it is required, firstly, to observe safety measures, and secondly, to adhere to the rule of "accuracy".

Drywall is a flexible material for installation. It is so easy to use that every person can use it to turn a fairy tale into reality. With this material you can:

  1. Create smooth transitions and lines.

Rules and subtleties of surface marking

A curved plasterboard ceiling is always the minimum. They are located at a certain height from each other. Marking is done in stages. Tools that will be needed for markup:

Important! When marking is applied, all curves are necessarily connected by straight lines.

Marking steps

  1. Initially, markings are applied to the ceiling for the I-th level. Hanging points are marked. They will be installed from each other at a distance of 60 cm, profiles from each other are installed at a distance of 40 cm, this is also marked on the ceiling.
  2. Markings from the ceiling are applied to drywall sheets.

Roundness and other forms from drywall are performed in the following ways:

The transition between levels can be at least 10 cm if the vertical transition is done more, for example, for, it is worth measuring and calculating the height of the room so that after that there is no feeling of a “falling ceiling” on the head.

Mounting technologies

When installing a curved ceiling, sometimes certain difficulties arise with drywall. The material needs to be given the desired shape. This can be done in 2 ways. Templates are needed in advance, according to which the sheet will be bent.

wet technology

This technology will require a spiked roller and water. On the inside of the sheet, recesses are made with the help of a roller.

Then the sheet needs to be soaked with water and put on a pattern template. After some time, the material will take the form of the original blank. For the production of too curved shapes, it is not advisable to use a sheet larger than 60 cm. The radius of the curved line is directly dependent on the thickness of the sheet. With a size of 9 mm. the minimum radius will be 50 cm, with a thickness of 12 mm. - 1 meter.

Wet drywall must dry well so that the intended shape is preserved. In order to learn more about wet technology, you need to watch a video that shows the creation of a mold step by step.

Dry bending

With dry technology, it is possible to produce curved lines without large sizes. If a reinforced sheet is used, a template for the form is not needed. Such sheets are very dense and bend perfectly. The thickness of such a sheet is 6.5 mm. Dry bending has the following details:

Frame production

Design features:

The video shows the design features of the curved ceiling.

Drywall fixing

Attachment stage ready-made forms curvilinear drywall (gypsum plasterboard) is simple, in comparison with the manufacture of the frame. But it also has its own subtleties. In order for the seams on the ceiling to subsequently not diverge, precise manufacturing of molds from sheets is required. The mold boundaries must exactly match the attached frame and curved profile.

To accurately cut a curved line, you need to mark the points on the sheet with a meter. After that, either connect these points by hand, or use a pattern to cut out the shape along the drawn lines.

It is best with a knife designed for this. When the cardboard is cut, the plaster breaks easily. If a complex shape is conceived on the ceiling, then it will be easier to make a pattern and cut out the shape from the sheet using it. When sheathing the frame, the cut-out forms are fastened with self-tapping screws at a distance of 25-30 mm from each other.

A curvilinear plasterboard ceiling mounted and ready for finishing. For sheathing the frame with large sheets, the help of a second person is required. If it's not there, you need props.

Important! To make a round hole for lighting device, you need to take a crown of the right size and an electric drill.

Some frame features

When sheathing a frame with curved lines, there are some features:

Final stage

After completing the sheathing of the frame, you need to proceed. This is done to achieve the perfect surface and finish.

Interesting! In the next 2018, fashionable tones will be considered not only bright and saturated colors, but also pastel shades of the rainbow, which smoothly transition from dark to light tones. The border between the transition is practically invisible. In order to do this, you need a regular sponge. The technique of such a transition of tones is called "Ombre". In the photo you can see the gamut of colors passing smoothly.

The modern fashion of the interior of the premises is original, unique, emphasizing the tastes of the residents of apartments and houses. Almost every room has a multi-level ceiling, arches or curvilinear plasterboard decorative designs. For convenience or multi-level ceilings, manufacturers of metal products, drywall have created a flexible profile. The arched profile for drywall is produced by a few companies, but it is distinguished by its strength and quality of products. It can be well bent and fixed into any design and shape, and at the same time, the profile does not need to be cut with scissors. Now let's take a closer look at what solutions for curved profiles for GVL are offered by manufacturers.

Flexible system Flex

The flexible Flext profile has an original design that reduces installation time metal frame for drywall products. The Flex company manufactures products only from quality material, which, before being released for sale, undergoes a line of testing for strength and functionality. Arched Flex has a number of advantages:

  1. The flexible profile for drywall is patented as a durable product, after mounting the metal frame, a rigid curved structure is obtained, ready for sheathing with drywall sheets.
  2. Versatility - using a flexible arched profile, curvilinear structures are created that are different in shape, size, radius of curvature.
  3. Functionality - when assembling a flexible profile for Flext drywall, you do not need to use additional connectors. After installation, it is a self-supporting structure.
  4. Ease of use allows the work to be done by a person who is not associated with construction work.

To install a bending drywall profile, you do not need to cut its sides. The product has 2 parts, made in the form of a corner. At each end there are special locks with which the profile can be easily connected to the required length. There are grooves on the sides - when assembling, parts of the product go into the holes, creating a strong bending structure, ready for mounting the frame.

For the production of arched products, galvanized steel is used, divided into modifications:

  1. Standard - metal thickness reaches 0.45mm. A profile made of steel of this modification is applicable for rigid, durable frames sheathed with plasterboard.
  2. Light - steel thickness 0.4mm. The profile of this modification is used in ceiling structures, since its rigidity is 20% less than the "Standard".

Using a flexible Flex profile, the master saves not only time to create the necessary radius of the frame figure, but also increases the rigidity and strength of the plasterboard product. Pololok, created with Flex products, will look beautiful, individually, emphasizing the design of the entire apartment or house.

It is possible to buy a bending profile system in the Leroy Merlin store. With its use, it is possible to implement more complex projects of curly walls and ceilings. Manufacturer website http://xn--e1akb0afh.xn--p1ai/

Designs from Knauf

The company that produces all necessary material for gypsum plasterboard constructions, it is distinguished by high quality products. The profiles created by the company are used in frames that can withstand sufficient load.

Initially, the company offers to use the service of bending the profile to your size. It is cold rolled through rollers. The approximate cost is from 300-700 rubles. It is possible to order in the city of Krasnogorsk, Moscow region. Knauf factory.

Curved profile

Curved profile PP 60/27 is the basis of curvilinear structures and arches. Bending can be performed both with walls inside,
and outward, respectively, a convex or concave shape.

The following options are available:

  • minimum bending radius, concave: 500 mm;
  • minimum bending radius, convex: 1000 mm.

A novelty from the Knauf company has been developed - a bending Sinus profile with flexible edges for creating curved wall structures.

Flexible profile Knauf Sinus

Flexible profile Knauf-sinus has its own distinctive features:

  1. finished product for creating a figured frame for drywall;
  2. with the help of a component frame with flexible edges, an exact composition is created for drywall arches or ;
  3. Can be mounted horizontally and vertically.

By creating a vertical product using Knauf technologies, it is possible to create a beautiful one, as well as to build a curved structure.

A metal profile for arched structures is created from a galvanized sheet, 0.6 mm thick. It has a U-shape, has sufficient rigidity and ease of bending. It is used not only in the installation of figured ceilings, but also is a guide profile for the reproduction of walls with figured elements.

The steel arch profile has dimensions - 50-40-1900mm., 75-40-1900mm., 100-40-1900mm. Minimum bending radius:

  • 50-40-1900 - 125mm.;
  • 75-40-1900 - 175mm.;

When buying a bending profile for Knauf drywall, you should purchase the rest of the component materials of this brand. Thus, the desired rigidity of the structure will be achieved, as well as the required curvilinear drywall element will be produced.

Products from LLC PK "INDASTRI"

The enterprise is located in the city of Kharkov. Releasing a wide range of products, a figured profile for drywall is also produced. The product is used in the installation of curvilinear curly plasterboard ceilings, GKL partitions, creating plasterboard arches.

Unfortunately, such a profile system is difficult to obtain.

For a curved ceiling, profile CD 60/27, ceiling guides UD 28/27, which have different specifications, including the bending radius, minimum 500mm.

For partitions, the UW 75 profile is produced, which has the characteristics of 75/40.

When mounting a large frame, using a curly profile, time is saved, physical strength is not required to cut the profile.

Using an arched profile in creating a frame for a drywall product saves time, human resources, cash. Figured ceilings, arches, are durable and reliable. The rigidity of the frame base gives a full basis for the long-term use of the structure without deformation, other manifestations of disrepair.
