Leaves, buds and birch bark are very sensitive to the environment, they absorb everything harmful substances, and lose beneficial features. Often, birch trees growing within the city have a dark gray trunk, which indicates that the trees grow in an ecologically unfavorable place, and have absorbed all the “gifts of civilization” - harmful exhaust gases from cars, soot and soot from CHP and other urban pollutants.
