Budgetary places for admission to a university

Both the parents of prospective students and the applicants themselves are attracted by budget-funded places in universities. What is this? And how to get on the budget?

Passing score at Moscow State Pedagogical University this year

A budgetary place in any educational institution implies free education and receiving a scholarship from the state for good academic achievement. It must be remembered that the main factor of admission to the budget in the university is always exams. In Russia, this is the Unified State Exam. For successful admission, many educational institutions offer preparatory courses, after passing which the applicant will receive some benefits.

Most often, it is not so easy to go to the budget: there are not enough places for everyone. But the priority of admission to the university will be given to those applicants who successfully pass the entrance exams and provide certificates with excellent grades. In addition to these criteria, victories in olympiads, successes in sports competitions of future students are also taken into account.

Basically, the budget for students of preferential categories:

  • orphans;
  • children without parental care;
  • disabled children;
  • disabled people of groups 1 and 2 (if they can be trained for health reasons);
  • boys and girls under 20 years old who have only one disabled parent of the 1st group (the average family income is also taken into account - below the subsistence level);
  • those who serve (or have served) in the Russian Armed Forces (under contract).

Therefore, if you are not included in one of the preferential categories, but want to get on the budget, then you can only rely on your fundamental knowledge, using it when passing the exam.

Who is eligible for the Presidential Scholarship in Russia

Passing score of the exam

The unified state examination is conducted centrally in all schools, gymnasiums, lyceums, that is, secondary educational institutions... The form is the same as the State Final Attestation (State Final Attestation) in the ninth grade. Such an exam is conducted to control the knowledge of schoolchildren who have completed their studies. Its results will be introductory for the university. After the USE, a certificate is issued based on the results, which indicates the points earned in all disciplines (11 subjects studied at school).

In 2018 there were some changes in the rules passing the exam... To enter a university on a budget, you must pass exams for a passing (minimum) score - the threshold for passing the exam.

The scores in three subjects have changed:

  1. Mathematics - 24 (2017) - 27 (2018).
  2. Social studies - 39 (2017) - 42 (2018).
  3. Foreign languages \u200b\u200b- 20 (2017) - 22 (2018).

For the rest of the subjects, the passing score did not change. What is the purpose of raising such a score? The Ministry of Education and Science is thus trying to raise the level of training of applicants. From the same, incoming graduates pass profile exam mathematics. Clarification: the university itself can determine its own passing score for admission, only not lower than that established by Rosobrnadzor.

Budget seats and passing balls for MGSU

There are only 10 budget places of MGSU allocated by the state for training students. As mentioned above, the university offers 200 training programs to choose from.

The most popular are:

  1. Bachelor's degree. For four years of study, the student receives a full-fledged basic education in the chosen specialty (in the diploma it will be written “Bachelor”).
  2. Specialty. Training lasts five to six years, after such studies you can engage in scientific work or continue to study in graduate school.

In order to enter the budget, you must pass an entrance professional exam. But the results of the exam are also counted. For example, in mathematics, only the USE results of the profile level are valid.

In 2018, MGSU for school graduates determined the following minimum threshold (in points):

  • mathematics - 30-35 (depending on the chosen program);
  • russian language - 45;
  • professional entrance test - 35;
  • creative entrance test - 35;
  • physics - 36-40 (depending on specialization);
  • social studies - 45.

It should be remembered that the results of each entrance test conducted by MGSU independently are evaluated on a 100-point scale.

Masters Scholarship This Year: Size

Those who scored fewer points according to the USE results than those stated by MGSU, unfortunately, will not be able to enter the university this year.

Applicants can get an advantage if they become:

  • winners of all-Russian and school Olympiads;
  • members of the national teams of the Russian Federation.

Such graduates must have at least 65 points in the USE in a general education discipline corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad.

On the official website of MGSU, a page has been created that contains data on your personal results - “Applicant's Navigator”. To get reliable information about your income to the budget, you must enter the personal file number in the appropriate column. If there is no access to the Internet, then look for the necessary information at the information stand of the selection committee.
