Travelers who have a transfer flight with several connections should consider the following point. For all sections, the baggage allowance is applied at the rate of the first segment of the route. But if you bought a ticket at the Promo fare, then you will have to pay for baggage several times - separately for each flight.

Exceptions

Every rule should have its own exceptions. So here. The above rules do not apply to some destinations.

For example, special conditions apply on Moscow-Baikonur-Moscow flights. Here, for passengers flying in economy class, the free baggage allowance is reduced to 15 kg. Business class passengers can carry up to 10 kg of hand luggage and up to 30 kg of baggage. For infants traveling in any class, neither hand luggage nor luggage is provided.

The airline may refuse to transport oversized items even if they are on the list of prohibited items. But if your baggage exceeds 32 kg or its dimensions do not fit into the norm, then you will already have to pay 10,000 rubles for a domestic flight and 100 euros for a flight to the CIS zone. Exceeding the dimensions of 203 cm on international flights is also regarded as 100 euros, but extra heavy baggage is not allowed on them at all.

Business class passengers pay only if their suitcase exceeds the free 32 kg or the dimensions do not fit into the norm. Here the price tags are similar to the above: 10,000 rubles and 100 euros.

There is one secret here. If possible, distribute things among different suitcases and buy an extra piece of luggage, it will cost you much less: 2-2.5 thousand rubles, 35 or 40 euros, depending on the direction.

The second seat above the free baggage allowance on international flights will be more expensive. Here the price tag starts from 50 euros.

Again, these fares only apply to one flight segment. For flights with transfers, feel free to multiply all numbers by two.
