MGSU is the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, founded in 1921. - those who serve (or have served) in the Russian Armed Forces (under contract).
Therefore, if you are not included in one of the privileged categories, but want to get on the budget, then you can only rely on your fundamental knowledge, using them when passing the exam.
Who is eligible for a presidential scholarship in Russia
USE passing score
The unified state exam is held centrally in all schools, gymnasiums, lyceums, that is, secondary educational institutions. The form of conducting is the same as the GIA (State Final Attestation) in the ninth grade. Such an exam is conducted to control the knowledge of schoolchildren who have completed their studies. Its results will be introductory for the university. After the exam, a certificate is issued based on the results, which indicates the points earned in all disciplines (11 subjects studied at school).
In 2018 there were some changes in the rules passing the exam. To enter a university on a budget, it is necessary to pass exams for a passing (minimum) score - the threshold for passing the USE.
Changed scores in three subjects:
- Mathematics - 24 (2017) - 27 (2018).
- Social Studies - 39 (2017) - 42 (2018).
- Foreign languages - 20 (2017) - 22 (2018).
For other subjects, the passing score has not changed. Why do you need to increase such a score? The Ministry of Education and Science thus tries to raise the level of preparation of applicants. Budget places and passing scores for MGSU

Masters scholarship this year: size
Those who scored fewer points according to the results of the Unified State Examination than stated by MGSU, unfortunately, will not be able to enter the university this year.

Such graduates must have USE results of at least 65 points in a general education discipline corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad.

9. Is it possible to file an appeal for exams at MGSU?An appeal on the issue of changing the grade obtained at the entrance test, handed over to MGSU in the form and according to the materials determined by MGSU, is submitted personally by the applicant on the next day after the announcement of the grade for the exam only after the applicant has familiarized himself with the results of the test work. The application for appeal is submitted personally by the applicant in handwritten form directly in the audience in which the results of the work were familiarized, and transferred to the Executive Secretary or his representative in this audience (appeals filed after the applicant left this audience are not considered). The appeal must indicate the specific reasons why the applicant does not agree with the grade (appeals without specifying specific reasons, i.e. the assessment of the work "as a whole", "in general", etc., are not considered).
Consideration of the appeal to the grade is made by a commission consisting of the Executive Secretary of the MGSU Admissions Committee, the Chairman of the Subject Committee or their deputies and the teacher who checked the work, within a day after the day of familiarization with the examination papers.
The applicant has the right to be present during the consideration of the appeal (if there is a document proving his identity and an examination sheet). With a minor applicant (under 18 years old), one of the parents or legal representatives, except for minors recognized in accordance with the law as fully capable before reaching the age of majority.

Moscow State University of Civil Engineering is a research and educational complex, the purpose of which is to train highly qualified specialists who will be able to use their talent and modern technologies in one of the most important areas for humanity - architecture and construction.
Education at MGSU
MGSU received a license to train 24 specialties for the training of future engineers, 21 specialties that meet state educational standards, 3 specialties that correspond to federal standards. There are also 12 areas of training for young bachelors and 5 areas of master's degree. All buildings of MGSU are connected into a single local network and have high speed internet access.
