12.1 Before starting the compressor, after completing the work provided for in section 2, it is necessary:

12.2 Compressor maintenance during operation (every shift)

When servicing the compressor every shift, it is necessary:

and)check the oil level in the crankcase, which should not be below the lower mark on the oil gauge; add oil to the crankcase through a funnel with a mesh into the compressor breather;

b) as the filter elements (cloth) of air filters become dirty, it is necessary to rinse them from dirt with any cleaning solution;

in) every 4-5 hours of continuous compressor operation, purge by pressing the “Purge” button on the control panel;

d) in the event of a compressor stopping due to the activation of the emergency protection, the maintenance personnel, having found out the cause of the malfunction, the signal should shine by turning off the power to the control panel. To carry out work to eliminate the malfunction, turn off the power to the compressor at the switchboard;
