Excerpt characterizing Avangard (newspaper, Batyrevo)

The next morning Marya Dmitrievna took the young ladies to Iverskaya and to m me Ober Shalme, who was so afraid of Marya Dmitrievna that she always lost her outfits at a loss, just to get her out of herself as soon as possible. Marya Dmitrievna ordered almost all of the dowry. When she returned, she drove everyone except Natasha out of the room and called her pet to her chair.
- Well, now let's talk. Congratulations on your fiancé. I picked up a fellow! I'm happy for you; and I know him from that age (she pointed to the yardstick from the ground). - Natasha blushed happily. - I love him and his whole family. Now listen. You know, old prince Nikolai really did not want his son to marry. A good old man! It is, of course, Prince Andrey is not a child, and he can do without him, but it is not good to enter a family against his will. It must be peaceful, loving. You are smart, you can do it right. You are kind and smart to get along. Everything will be fine.
Natasha was silent, as Marya Dmitrievna thought from shyness, but in essence it was unpleasant for Natasha that they interfered in her love affair of Prince Andrey, which seemed to her so special from all human affairs that no one, according to her concepts, could understand him. She loved and knew one prince Andrey, he loved her and had to come the other day and take her. She didn't need anything else.
- You see, I have known him for a long time, and I love Mashenka, your sister-in-law. Sisters-in-law are beaters, but this will not offend a fly. She asked me to take her to you. Tomorrow you and your father will go to her, but caress me well: you are younger than her. As soon as yours arrives, and you know your sister and father, and they love you. Is that so or not? Will it be better?
“Better,” Natasha answered reluctantly.

The next day, on the advice of Marya Dmitrievna, Count Ilya Andreevich went with Natasha to see Prince Nikolai Andreevich. The count with a gloomy spirit was going to this visit: in his soul he was scared. The last meeting during the militia, when the count, in response to his invitation to dinner, heard an ardent reprimand for failure to provide people, was remembered by Count Ilya Andreich. Natasha, dressed in her best dress, was opposite in the most cheerful frame of mind. “It cannot be that they do not love me, she thought: everyone has always loved me. And I am so ready to do whatever they want for them, so ready to love him - because he is a father, and her because she is a sister, that there is nothing for them not to love me! "
They drove up to an old, gloomy house on Vzdvizhenka and entered the entrance.
- Well, God bless, - said the count, half joking, half serious; but Natasha noticed that her father was in a hurry, entering the hall, and timidly, quietly asked if the prince and the princess were at home. After the report of their arrival, there was confusion between the servants of the prince. A footman who ran to report them was stopped by another footman in the hall and they were whispering about something. A maid girl ran into the hall, and hastily also said something, mentioning the princess. Finally, an old footman with an angry look came out and reported to the Rostovs that the prince could not accept, but the princess asked him to come. The first to meet the guests was m lle Bourienne. She met her father and daughter with particular courtesy and escorted them to the princess. The princess with an agitated, frightened face covered with red spots ran out, stepping heavily towards the guests, and in vain trying to seem free and welcoming. At first glance, Natasha did not like Princess Marya. She seemed to her too elegant, frivolously cheerful and vain. Princess Marya did not know that before she saw her future daughter-in-law, she was already ill-disposed towards her out of involuntary envy of her beauty, youth and happiness, and of jealousy of her brother's love. In addition to this overwhelming feeling of antipathy towards her, Princess Mary at that moment was also agitated by the fact that when reporting on the arrival of the Rostovs, the prince shouted that he did not need them, that let Princess Mary accept them if he wanted, but that they would not be allowed to him. ... Princess Marya decided to receive the Rostovs, but at every moment she was afraid that the prince would do some kind of trick, since he seemed very agitated by the arrival of the Rostovs.

Avangard is the only newspaper in the Republic published in the Chuvash and Tatar languages. Circulation is about 3500 copies. The editorial office is located in with. Batyrevo. Newspaper publication days: Wednesday, Saturday.

History lines:

In 1930, in the Batyrevsky district, they began to resolve the issue of their newspaper. On September 9, at a meeting of the bureau of the CPSU (b), the issue of organizing a district newspaper was considered and a resolution was adopted on allocating premises for the editorial office and printing house, as well as on organizing a discussion of the name of the newspaper. On September 28, 1930, an editorial board of 5 people was approved, which included: from the district committee - Rumyantsev - editor, from the Komsomol Republic of Kazakhstan - Sergeev, from the district executive committee - Yanaslov, from the trade unions - Salyan and from Shikhirdan region - one representative.

at the next meeting of the bureau decided to name the regional newspaper "Payankhi sas", and also Saxonova, a woman organizer and a famous Chuvash poet, a native of Arabuzi (May Day) Vasily Mitt, was introduced to the editorial board.

February 8, 1931, Sunday, readers received the first issue of the newspaper. It was the newspaper of the Bolshe-Batyrevsky RK of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) and the regional executive committee, it was published once every 5 days on 4 pages.

The first employees of the editorial office were Vasily Egorovich Mitta - executive secretary and Yakov Lvovich Zverev (Yakku Arslan) - literary officer.

All the main burden fell on their shoulders, tk. at that time, the editorial staff had only two people, and the editor directly worked in the district party committee as the head of the department of mass propaganda work. In 1932, the name of the newspaper changed, from the first issue it became known as "October Yalave" ("The Banner of October).

In connection with the restructuring of the district in accordance with the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR "On changing the boundaries in the new administrative and territorial composition of the Batyrev and Shikhirdan regions of the Chuv. ASSR" and the transition of the Batyrevsky district office to Bolshiye Koshelei in 1939, the editorial office moved to a new district center. OCTOBER YALAVE has ceased to be a Batyrev newspaper. The Batyrevsky district, changed within the boundaries, began to be called Chkalovsky and the organ of the Chkalovsky RK VKP (b) and the regional executive committee was the newspaper "Communism Bayragy", which was the organ of the national Tatar Shikhirdan region. The newspaper, previously published in the Tatra language, became the Chuvash one. Here the materials were published in two languages: the text of the Chuvash authors in Chuvash, Tatar - in Tatra. This situation remained until the 50s. And it could satisfy the readers. There was a need for a dubbed release. In 1952, this issue was resolved: on September 4, the newspapers "Communism Yalave" were published entirely in Chuvash, "Communism Bayragy" in Tatar. Psolednyaya and began to duplicate the Chuvash newspaper. In 1953, both were given one, international name - "Avangard", under which it is published today.

Nowadays it is the state unitary enterprise "Batyrevsky Publishing House".
