At one time, I had the sad experience of purchasing an expensive imported lawn mower, which barely reached the end of the warranty period when it broke down. The mower has not been repaired and the warranty has expired. Therefore, I took it apart, as they say, by cogs in order to understand the cause of the breakdown. The first impression is that it was designed by some random people. But then I came to the conclusion that this design was not designed for a longer service life.
As a pensioner, such a purchase is expensive for me. Therefore, I developed my own design. Losing in design in a number of parameters, it surpasses industrial designs in quality.
I mow the grass twice a season, and a layer of half-rotted hay accumulates on the surface of the soil, which, retaining moisture, even in heavy rain does not allow the lawn to sour.
The lawnmower is stable at any density and height of the grass cover, both on level and in difficult terrain, as well as on slopes. Working close to curbs, supports, bushes and tree heaps, it does not allow contact with them. Equipped with three interchangeable knives. The 1st is intended for preliminary one-time planning of the site. It removes protruding roots and local irregularities, partially recessed stones and other objects. The third person mows and places the grass in a row, after which it can be used for animal feed and as fertilizer after decomposition in compost.

Despite the fact that it is convenient to transport it like a wheelbarrow, complaints can arise in public transport.
Therefore, at the request of my wife, for work in the courtyard and small lawns, I developed the design of a portable lawn mower, taking the previous one as a basis.

At present, when carrying out individual construction, it seems advisable to use means of small mechanization, excluding heavy manual operations for lifting and lowering loads. As a result, the shaft with the drum begins to rotate, on which the cargo rope is wound. At the same time, the carriage with the load rises.

When the handles stop, the rope tends to turn the shaft in the opposite direction, but the clamped ratchet wheel cannot rotate in this direction, since it rests on the ratchet with its tooth. This way, the weight will not fall when the handle is released. When moving along the guide tubes, the carriage may be skewed (vertical deviation) by 1-2 degrees as a result of the formation of gaps between the rollers and the guide tubes.

When lowering the load, it is necessary to rotate the winch handles towards you (from top to bottom). In this case, the textolite washers will release the ratchet wheel from the clamp, since the gear wheel, while rotating, moves along the shaft thread in the other direction. In this case, the carriage with the load is lowered freely.

When operating the hoist, it is necessary to observe the following conditions: do not allow grease to get on the side surfaces of textolite washers, toothed wheel and ratchet wheel of the winch; the winch ratchet must be in engagement with the ratchet wheel; before starting loading work, you need to tighten the cargo rope using a lanyard to prevent the windings from slipping on the winch drum, as well as to obtain gaps between the brake pads and the guide pipes.

In the event of a rope breakage during loading and unloading operations, the spring located on the carriage presses the levers with brake pads. Those, pressing against the pipes, provide braking of the carriage with a load at any height.

A bottle is filled with poison for spraying beetles or water for watering the crop. Screw the container to the top of the spray bottle, which is attached to the stick. Then, with a closed nozzle, we pump up the pump a little, after that we untwist the nozzle, and the sprayer starts to work. In this way, trees of any height and large beds can be sprayed; if necessary, the device can simply be put on the ground and pumped up from time to time.
