Chainsaw greatly simplifies the process of sawing wood, but remember that this tool is a source of potential accidents. When buying a new tool, the kit contains an instruction manual for the chainsaw. It should be studied by everyone who first starts working using this tool. This will not only prevent the occurrence of breakdowns during improper use, but also eliminate the possibility of accidents.

Chainsaws, regardless of the model, have common nodes, which may differ in shape and configuration:

  • engine;
  • clutch;
  • reducer;
  • saw machine;
  • the frame itself and the starter controls.

Getting started with a chainsaw

Most men immediately after buying a chainsaw want to test it in practice, forgetting to study the user manual. Manufacturers strongly recommend that you initially read the instructions that will help you set up the tool and bring it into working order. Otherwise, there is a high probability that the tool will receive irreparable damage during the first use.

Before starting the first work with the tool, you need to set up the bar, chain and sprocket. All of these elements must work together. When using the saw for the first time, it is very important to run the engine in; for this it is worth emptying one tank. It is important not to load the saw, but it is also not worth it to idle. As a result, such actions can provoke significant engine wear.

The first thing to start with is putting the instrument in the on mode. Before starting the tool, it is worth pumping some fuel into the carburetor. Then you should pull out the suction and pull out the starter with a sharp jerk. If the jerking of the starter is not sharp, but sluggish, there is a possibility of flooding the candles, and all subsequent attempts to start the chainsaw will be reduced to zero. If this happens, it is necessary to remove the plug and warm it up, as a result of which all the vapors of the fuel mixture will evaporate.

Back to the table of contents

  1. It is very important to hold the tool with both hands, gripping firmly on the handle. In this case, the thumb of the left hand should be located under the front grip.
  2. When performing work, do not stand behind the tool. The worker should be located on the side of the device.
  3. Sawing is done with the upper or lower edge of the saw. If the saw is made with the upper edge, then the saw is moving towards the worker, and this is very important to consider when working.
  4. When working, it is better to stand with a flat back and legs bent at the knees, this position will provide maximum balance.
  5. Moving around with the tool turned on is extremely dangerous, so if there is a need to move to another place, the tool should be turned off or put on the brake.
  6. It is worth starting cutting with the edge of the tire located closer to the body.

Chainsaw operation at different times of the year

The two-wheel internal combustion engine, due to which the chainsaw works, requires some care in different seasons. If work is carried out on the street in winter timeand the temperature is below freezing, it is very important to warm up the carburetor. This is necessary because the fuel can crystallize at such low temperatures, making the mixture more viscous. Warming up the carburetor enables the saw to adapt to this temperature range.

It is also worth considering the abrupt change carefully. temperature regime... If the instrument has been stored in a cold place, do not suddenly bring it into a warm room, as condensation forms immediately. This accumulation of moisture inside the instrument can cause negative consequences associated with the phenomenon of corrosion.

Chainsaws help you quickly and efficiently clear trees, erect log cabins or prepare wood raw materials. But in order to work correctly and safely with this tool, it is useful to know what is inside it.

How a chainsaw works

The chainsaw device is not too complicated. The main elements of its construction:

  • ignition system;
  • carburetor;
  • fuel system;
  • air purification system.

Let's talk about each of them in more detail.

Ignition system

In the ignition system of modern chainsaws there are elements that, depending on the speed of the saw, regulate the impulse. Most manufacturers today equip their equipment with electronic ignition instead of contact ignition.

The electronic ignition system consists of the following elements:

  • magneto;
  • candle;
  • the electronic unit;
  • wiring;
  • motor start button.

Magneto is a type of alternator. It supplies electrical energy to the spark plug. Any magneto consists of a coil with a core and high voltage windings, a flywheel and a permanent magnet. Magneto can be contact or non-contact.

The contact magneto has two winding leads. The first goes to the spark plug, the second to the ground. A capacitor can be connected to such a circuit so that the contacts do not overheat and oxidize.

In a contactless magneto, the voltage supply regulator is a coil. The thyristor, diode and capacitor regulate the amount of current. The electrical network operates in step with the translational movement of the cylinders and the rotation of the crankshaft. However, the connection diagram of all the parts of the non-contact magneto with each other depends on the saw model.

The ignition works in this way:

  • a magnet attached to the flywheel rotates with it and induces an electromotive force in the system;
  • a current arises in the circuit, which is converted by the electronic unit into electrical signals;
  • signals are sent to the candle;
  • a spark is formed between the contacts of the plug, from which the fuel-air mixture ignites.

In any ignition, a spark is formed when the engine piston does not reach its "dead center" about 3-4 mm.

The candle consists of a body, an insulator and electrodes: central and side. By its condition, you can visually identify ignition faults.

See " The main rules for running a saw headset and a chainsaw engine

After the fuel mixture ignites, the engine starts to work. The entire ignition system needs to be adjusted from time to time.

Carburetor

On most chainsaw models, the carburetors are the same.

They have a flap in the body. With its help, both screws (main and idle), diffuser, impulse channel and inlet connection are adjusted. The damper also regulates the supply of ambient air.

Understanding how the carburetor works will help you adjust the carburetor correctly. It works like this:

  • the engine starts, an air damper opens at the bottom of the housing;
  • vacuum occurs inside the float chamber and in the air channel, because the piston moves;
  • air is drawn in through the diffuser;
  • the fuel mixture enters the float chamber from the gas tank through the fitting;
  • gasoline is mixed with air in the diffuser;
  • through the intake channels, the fuel-air mixture enters the combustion chamber.

Using the damper, you can adjust the intensity of air flow into the fuel, with the help of screws, adjust the engine speed, with the help of a jet, the rate of gasoline entering the diffuser.

Fuel system

Consists of fuel filter, carburetor and manual fuel pump. At the same time, not all chainsaws have a pump: in some models, gasoline from the tank enters the carburetor unit simply through a hose. The end of the fuel filter hose is immersed in gasoline and gasoline stops flowing into the carburetor assembly when the tank is filled with air. To avoid this, a breather is attached to the tank lid: when it becomes dirty, the engine stalls.

The manual type fuel pump allows the carburetor compartment to be pre-filled with fuel, so the engine starts faster.

Chainsaws are equipped with a pre-cleaning and fine cleaning system so that the gas used for air-fuel mixture is of good quality.

The air is first filtered by a mesh filter, then by fine filters.

Due to dirty filters, less air enters the carburetor assembly. As a result, the power of the motor decreases. To prevent this, the filters must be constantly cleaned: blown or rinsed.

Starter

The starter starts the engine of the chainsaw. The starter mechanism consists of a handle, a rope, a drum and a return spring.

If you sharply pull out the handle with the torso, the drum will engage with the shaft, the shaft will begin to spin. The spring will help return the handle to its original position. In order for the motor to start after turning the shaft, it will be necessary to pull the handle more than once.

Chain

The chain pitch is the intermediate distance between three rivets located side by side.

The larger the chain pitch, the greater both the power of the motors and its performance, and the applied effort to increase the rotation of the drive sprocket.

But chains with a small pitch (more teeth and less distance between them) vibrate less, their movements are smoother when cutting, and the cut is cleaner.

Tire

Chainsaw tires vary in length. Bar length - the length of the working part, that is, the distance from the front of the saw to the rounded tip of the bar nose. As a rule, the length of the bus is indicated in the instructions.

But the reliability of a guide bar is determined not only by its own characteristics, but also by other details. For example, an asterisk. If the sprocket wheel is made of durable materials, the tire will last a long time. Due to the replaceable crown, the runout level is reduced many times.

In order for the tire wear to be the most even, it must be turned over periodically, then the service life will increase.

Brake

If the chain accidentally touches the tree during rotation, a kickback occurs. In this case, for safety reasons, the brake must be applied.

The saw brake system consists of a brake stop and a brake band. The system can be switched on in two ways: contact (the brake stop presses on the worker's hand) and inertial (with a sharp impact into the tire, inertial forces arise that act on the brake).

Chain lubrication system

In modern chainsaws, the chain and bar are automatically lubricated. There is no oil supply at idle, since the oil pumps only start working after the sprocket turns and the gear starts moving. The more the sprocket turns, the more oil flows from the pump to the chain. The pump is installed on the chain side and receives oil from the oil tank through the oil line.

Used tools:
chainsaw Makta DCS 7900 (professional);
chainsaw Makta DCS 3435 (amateur).

Those who do not yet have experience using a chainsaw should remember the basic principles of working with this tool:

- the saw must be held with both hands, and the handles must be grasped with all fingers. In this case, the thumb of the left hand should be under the front grip;

- when working, you must not stand directly behind the saw, you must stand slightly to the side of the tool;

- you can cut with both the upper and lower edges of the tool. When sawing with the lower edge, the chain guides the saw away from the user. When sawing with the top edge of the tool, the chain moves the saw towards the user;

- when moving to another place, it is imperative to turn off the engine of the tool or activate the saw brake. You cannot move with a saw with a chain rotating;

- you need to start sawing with that section of the tire, which is located closer to the tool body;

- if you plan to work frequently with a chainsaw, you need to purchase protective clothing: strong boots (preferably special ones, protected by steel plates), strong gloves, special pants with cut protection, a bright protective jacket that allows air to pass through, and a helmet with a mask.

1. Preparation for work

Before starting work, check the chain tension - it must be carefully adjusted so that the chain does not sag on the bar during operation. A poorly tensioned chain will wear out the bar and sprocket faster, damage the shock absorbers faster and increase the stress on the tool body.

- before you start working with a chainsaw, you must definitely read the user manual;

- if the saw chain is new, it is recommended to immerse it in oil for several hours before starting work. If the chain is old, it is imperative to sharpen it: the cutting tools of a poorly sharpened saw wear out quickly.

The saw is placed on a stable surface and filled with fuel. For refueling, use only "branded" oils designed specifically for chainsaws. The percentage of oil in this mixture should be 1 / 40-1 / 50. For the work of imported saws, it is better to use 92nd gasoline (or higher brand), and 76th is suitable for Russian ones.

- to avoid the risk of fire, before starting the engine, remove the saw from the place where it was filled with fuel and place it back on a solid, stable base.

3. Starting the tool for the first time

After checking that the chain is not touching hard surfaces, engage the chain brake. In this case, the brake lever is moved away from you so that the chain does not start to rotate ahead of time. Since the engine is cold, the choke lever is pulled out completely. The toe of the foot is threaded into the rear handle (while holding the front handle with the hand). Pull the handle several times while pulling the starter cord until the engine "sneezes". After that, the air damper is moved to the working position and the saw is started. Briefly press the throttle, transfer the saw to idle. The brake lever is moved to its previous position towards itself. The saw is now ready for use.

- check the tool brake before work. To do this, place the saw on a level surface and press the throttle. The brake is activated by pressing the handle down without releasing the tool handle. If the chain has stopped, then the brake is working normally;

- also check the lubrication mechanism before work. You need to find some light surface (for example, a freshly cut tree stump). Holding the tool over the stump, start the chain and increase its speed by pressing the throttle. If a line of oil appears on the hemp, then the lubrication mechanism is in order.

4. Pruning branches

Cutting branches from the trunk of a felled tree begins from the bottom of the trunk, standing to the left of it. Work is carried out at a slow, calm pace, being careful not to engage the bow of the saw. Saw both the upper and lower part of the bar, trying to lean the saw against the hip or against the trunk if possible. The branches from the upper part of the trunk are cut off, putting the tool on one side (the saw should lie on the trunk with all its weight). After the branches on the top and side of the lying trunk are cut off, the trunk is turned over and the branches that were below are cut off.

- it should be remembered that sometimes the entire trunk can rest on only one branch: if you cut it off, the trunk may move or roll;

- if the branch is thick, it must be cut down in parts - from the end to the trunk. If the branch is particularly thick, it may be necessary to file it on both sides.

5. Bucking (cutting the trunk into pieces)

Bucking is started when all branches have been cut from the trunk. The trunk of a lying tree is sawn into pieces in the direction from the trunk to the top (butt).

- in the process of crosscutting, it is prohibited to stand below the trunk if it is located on an inclined plane;

- if the saw is stuck in the trunk, stop the engine and tilt the trunk until the saw comes out of the wood. It is not necessary to immediately get the saw out of the tree.

6. Felling trees

Before cutting down a tree, determine which side it will be "more convenient" to fall. For this, the natural inclination of the trunk, the direction of the wind and the number of branches on each of its sides are taken into account. The tree should be thrown in the direction into which it is "more convenient" to fall. Just before felling, cut low branches that might interfere with your work. There are several technologies for felling trees, which are selected depending on the thickness of the trunk and other factors. Pick up optimal way can only be a professional lumberjack.

- if there are people nearby, they must be at a distance of at least 2 tree trunk lengths;

- before starting work, make sure that there is nothing around that could be damaged by a fallen tree;

- felling trees is not an easy task: if there is no experience of such work, it is better to entrust this business to professionals or ask them to be present at work!

Instrument care

Each time after working with a chainsaw, you must do the following:

1. Checking the chain tension and lubrication.

If the chain is loose, it must be tightened, if the oil runs out, add it to the tank.

After finishing work, refuel the machine after a short rest so that the saw cools down.

3. Checking the air filter.

Periodically, the filter becomes clogged with shavings - after finishing work, it is advisable to remove it, rinse and blow it out. Also, periodically it is necessary to clean the surfaces around the engine cooling plates from contamination.

The chainsaw is an excellent tool for cutting wood with high productivity and reliability. But before you start working with it, you must carefully read the attached instructions and perform a number of preparatory operations. They will help to avoid damage to the unit and ensure safe operation. Given here useful tips when working with chainsaws are based on the recommendations of equipment manufacturers and the experience of professional craftsmen.

If you have studied the operating instructions for the chainsaw, and you figured out the location and principle of operation of all its components, you can start preparing for the first start of the tool. First, an external examination makes sure that the chainsaw is complete and that there are no visible damages. The guide bar must be secured in place and the cutting chain inserted into its grooves and engaged with the sprocket.

It is important that the chain has optimal tension. Seating too tight will put more stress on the engine, and loosening the engagement can cause kickback and jamming parts... To check, pull the chain up in the middle of the bar. Moreover, its shanks should protrude from the groove by a few millimeters. If this does not happen or there is a lot of sagging, it is necessary to adjust the position of the tire.

Filling with fuel mixture and chain oil

In accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer, a fuel mixture is prepared from gasoline of the specified brand and oil for two-stroke carburetor engines. The ratio for most foreign models is 1:40 or 1:50. Fuel is filled with the filler cap removed, marked gas station icon... Separate chain lubrication system marked the image of a drop, filled with machine oil type W30-W40.

Manufacturers often advise using their own brands.

Starting your chainsaw for the first time

A new chainsaw must not be used immediately under maximum load. All rotating parts of the tool must first rub against each other. It is recommended that at the first start, fire a full gas tank, without applying high forces to the saw... If such a test is successful, you can subsequently saw with a chainsaw without additional restrictions.

The chainsaw is started on flat horizontal ground... The starting procedure for the example of a Stihl saw should be as follows.

  1. Pull the chain along the bar by hand, making sure it runs smoothly and there is no excess resistance.
  2. Engage the chain brake by moving the handle away from you.
  3. Open the cylinder decompression valve.

  4. Apply the fuel mixture to the carburetor by pressing the primer several times.

  5. To start the saw correctly, press the rear handle with your right foot on the ground. Holding the front handle with your left hand, fix the fuel supply lever in the working position with your right hand.
  6. Set the combination switch to the cold start position.
  7. With a jerk of the starter handle, start the engine ignition, which should stall almost immediately.
  8. Open the throttle valve to the half-throttle position.

  9. By jerking the starter rope again, start the engine again, immediately moving the fuel lever to the idle position.
  10. Pull the chain brake handle to the operating position.
  11. Bring the far end of the guide bar up to a clean and light surface and make sure the chain lubrication system is working by splashing small drops of oil.

After making sure that all units and mechanisms of the saw are in good working order and do not emit extraneous noise at idle speed, you can proceed to work under load.

Chainsaw safety precautions

When purchasing such a tool, you need to know how to use a chainsaw correctly. Labor protection requires the employee to use only serviceable equipment... Therefore, the operation of a chainsaw requires:

  • its obligatory inspection before each launch;
  • regular check of the condition and adjustment of the main units;
  • timely adding oil and adjusting the chain tension;
  • stopping work when a fault is detected in the chain brake and other critical parts and accessories.

Do not make homemade changes to the design of the tool or use spare parts that are not suitable for the model used. Some craftsmen talk about how to start a chainsaw without starter... But they forget that its impeller is needed to cool the motor, which will start to overheat with the threat of failure.

You can only work with a chainsaw in overalls using special gloves, shoes with metal inserts, helmets and eye protection. In this case, the tool is held with two hands with a straight back, without bending far forward and without lifting the saw above the shoulders. It is not recommended to place body parts in the plane of the cut. Safety precautions prohibit driving with a chainsaw with a rotating cutting chain.

Practical work with a chainsaw when felling trees and cutting branches requires adherence to special rules to prevent injury to the employee by falling trunks. A kickback with a saw that hits an obstacle is especially dangerous. The lumberjack is not allowed:

  • fell trees in one cut;
  • cut several branches at the same time;
  • perform a cut with the end of the tire;
  • be in the area of \u200b\u200bthe falling tree.

Chainsaw maintenance

Chainsaw maintenance includes:

  • kept clean and dry;
  • timely adjustment of all components and assemblies;
  • replacement of worn-out parts with new ones.

It is necessary to regularly service the chainsaw by performing the following operations:

  • adding a fuel mixture and oil to lubricate rubbing surfaces;
  • regulation of the chain tension, which lengthens over time;
  • lubrication of the driven tire sprocket;
  • purging or flushing the air filter;
  • cleaning the combustion chamber of the cylinder;
  • replacement of the chain, guide bar and drive sprocket upon abrasion of more than 0.5 mm from the nominal dimensions.

All maintenance work on the chainsaw is carried out only with the engine off.

If it is necessary to stop work for a long time, all chainsaw units are thoroughly cleaned... In this case, the metal parts are covered with grease, and the chain is removed and immersed in oil. The fuel must be drained. It is recommended to store such a tool in a warm and dry place.

Following the rules listed in this article will help you operate your chainsaw efficiently and safely for the life specified by the manufacturers.

After buying a chainsaw, the owner can't wait to get it to work as soon as possible.

It is good if he already has the skills to maintain and safely operate this tool. If there is no such experience, then you should not rush to the first start.

Spending a little time learning how to prepare the chainsaw for work, understanding the safe handling techniques, you will save yourself from injury and extend the life of your mechanical assistant.

Tips on how to use your chainsaw correctly fall into four groups:

  1. Preparation.
  2. Launch.
  3. Work methods and safety precautions.
  4. Service.

In this order, we will consider them in our article.

Instrument preparation

A chainsaw is a motorized tool based on a two-stroke internal combustion engine. It cannot run on pure gasoline, so a gas-oil mixture must be prepared to start.

Its proportion is simple: for 1 liter of gasoline of the brand not lower than A92 (for expensive imported chainsaws, the brand is not lower than A95), we take 20 grams of special engine oil for chainsaws. In the instructions, this proportion is designated 1:50. After stirring fuel and oil in a plastic container, open the filler neck and fill the tank with a combustible mixture.

Beginners are advised to be careful not to confuse the fuel filler neck with the chain oil filler neck. On some models of chainsaws, they are both located on the same side of the body. They can be distinguished by a special marking applied next to the hole. You will see a gas station icon on the fuel filler neck. A drop symbol is applied next to the oil filler neck.

Good chain lubrication is essential for the quality of your chainsaw and the long life of your bar. The chainsaw instruction manual recommends using only the manufacturer's original oil. In addition to it, it is allowed to fill in high-quality automotive engine oil with a viscosity of W30-W40. We do not recommend using dirty working and other oil substitutes for chain lubrication.

The mark up to which the chain oil is poured into the tank is always close to the filler neck. When working with a chainsaw, do not forget to glance at it periodically so as not to miss the moment of refilling the tank. In addition to the saw chain, occasionally (once a month) the bearing of the bar located on its outer end part should be lubricated. Some tires have a hole there, into which a few drops of oil are sprayed with a syringe. Fuel the saw should only be done on a level, hard surface.

Chainsaw start

Having filled in the fuel mixture and chain lubricant, you can proceed to the second stage - starting the chainsaw. The manufacturer's instructions will also come in handy here.

It briefly and clearly describes the main stages of this operation:

  1. Checking the chain tension (pulling the upper middle links) ... If they give in with some effort, it means that the chain is tensioned well enough. If the saw chain sags, use the tensioning mechanism and tighten it.
  2. We pull the chain along the tire ... It rotates easily under normal tension. If you have overtightened the chain, then you need to loosen it a little. Along the way, we look at the position of the chain brake (a wide plastic shield next to the front handle). It must be turned on (pushed forward from the front handle that is holding the saw). At idle, when the engine is warming up, we don't need the chain to rotate. Therefore, we put it on the brake.
  3. We install the chainsaw on a flat area ... Hold the front handle with your left hand. We put our right foot on the rear handle, turn on the ignition button, extend the throttle and several times sharply pull the starter handle. As soon as the engine gives the first "flash", push the throttle and again sharply pull the starter handle until the engine starts.
  4. Disengage the chain brake, making sure that there are no foreign objects under the saw chain , which she can pick up, and press the gas a couple of times to warm up the instrument.
  5. We check the supply of lubricant to the chain. To do this, we bring the saw to any light object (sheet of paper, board, stump cut). If a trace of oil appears on it, it means that a sufficient amount of lubricant is supplied to the chain.

The starting procedure described above is performed on a cold engine. If the saw has already worked for some time and has been muted, then its start is done with the starter handle without using the throttle valve.

Work rules and safety precautions

The chain saw is a traumatic tool. This fact should not cause panic fear. It is designed to encourage the owner to constantly monitor their actions during work.

So, what is required for safety when working with a chainsaw?

First, don’t spare the money to buy a set of workwear (gloves, protective helmet, suit and special shoes). He will become reliable protection from damage.

In particular, gloves for such saws are good at protecting fingers from injury. Their fabric, when in contact with the chain, winds around it and blocks it, saving fingers from sharp teeth. A protective helmet will prevent chips from damaging your eyes and protect your head from falling branches.

The lumberjack's shoes are fitted with steel plates. If the saw bounces unexpectedly, they take on the cutting blow.

Second, do not hold the saw straight in front of you. Hold it with your feet to the side of the cutting line.

Third, hold the saw firmly with all your fingers around the handles. In this case, the right hand should be held on the rear handle, and the left - on the front.

These three basic rules need to be supplemented with other equally important points:

  • Insert the saw carefully into the cut made.
  • Beware of cutting with the tip of the bar (kickback is high).
  • Remove from the work area all foreign objects that could trip or fall over.
  • When cutting, do not bend very low to avoid losing your balance.
  • Do not work with the chain saw above your shoulders.
  • Do not hold the tool too far away from you so that your back and arms do not strain or get tired during long work.
  • The back should always be kept straight and the legs wide apart.
  • The cut can be made from both sides of the bar. It should be borne in mind that when cutting with the lower edge, the chain pulls the saw forward, and when working with the upper part, it pulls the saw back.
  • Stop the engine or brake the chain (idle) before moving the saw to a new job.

A good rule of thumb is not to work alone, but with a companion who can provide first aid.

Before cutting a tree, you need to stand to the right of it and cut it (at an angle of 45 degrees to a depth of no more than ¼ of the trunk diameter). The cut is made from the side of the tree falling (the direction of the natural inclination of the trunk). After that, a horizontal undercut is made on the other side - the main felling cut. It is not brought to an inclined cut for a few centimeters so that the tree does not collapse ahead of time (Figures 1 and 2).

To eliminate the clamping of the saw bar in the main cut, a wooden wedge is inserted into it.

Figure: No. 1 diagram of cutting the trunk with a chainsaw
Figure: No. 2 (1, 2 - upper and lower cuts, 3 - felling main cut)

When working, you need to monitor where the trunk is moving. This rule will help you avoid serious injury if the barrel falls in an unplanned direction.

When the tree begins to fall, quickly remove the saw from the cut, turn off its engine and leave the work area.

Having felled a tree, you should not relax, since statistics record the main number of injuries precisely at the stage of pruning branches.

To safely perform this work, follow these rules:

  • fix the trunk with shims so that it does not move or roll;
  • stand to the left of the fallen tree, and start cutting from the lower branches;
  • cut down thick branches, starting from their end and gradually moving towards the trunk.

If the chainsaw is jammed when sawing a fallen tree, do not jerk it while trying to pull it out. First shut off the engine and use the thick levers to try to raise or tilt the barrel to widen the cut.

Tool maintenance

This is an indicator of the professionalism of the owner. If timely and high-quality care is organized for the chainsaw, then it will work reliably and for a long time.

After finishing work, the tool must be cleaned of sawdust and debris. Remember to check the chain tension and lubrication level. Correct maintenance of your chainsaw involves regular checking of the condition of the air filter. If you do not keep it clean, then you are guaranteed problems with starting.

The fastest wear on this tool is the chain, bar and its drive sprocket. Therefore, their condition also needs to be constantly monitored.

If there is fuel left in the tank, it must be drained into a separate container. The manufacturer's instructions recommend producing the prepared mixture within 2-3 weeks.
