The theme of the new season

Season 19 has been dubbed the "Season of Eternal Confrontation" and is full of cool killstreak rewards! When developing the concept of the season, we were inspired by the conflict between Heaven and Hell. Destroying opponents, you will be able to receive special effects, the power of which will constantly increase. Unleash killstreaks and clear the battlefield in the name of Sanctuary!

In Season 19, all players will be able to benefit from the buff "Pandemonius". For each stack you apply, you will receive a small bonus to your movement speed and damage dealt until you reach a maximum of 50% and 100% respectively (per 1000 stacks). In addition, killing streaks of a certain length will trigger additional effects, increasing your power on the battlefield.

  • 15 kills: explosive chickens chase and destroy targets.
  • 30 kills: a large "Ring of Ice" freezes opponents.
  • 50 kills: corpses fall from the sky.
  • 100 kills: the hero creates five huge energy whirlwinds.
  • 150 kills: dark geysers form under the feet of opponents.
  • 200 kills: Treasure chests are falling from the sky.
  • 300 kills:"Ring of Fire" ignites everything in the area.
  • 400 kills: Meteorites are falling from the sky.

  • 1000 kills: ???

In preparing the season, we took into account the excellent feedback from players about Season 18 and the Will of the Church of the Three effect. Thanks to the killstreak mechanic, players will be able to constantly use the effect, no matter where they are and no matter what position they occupy. We have a lot of room for experimentation and preparation of innovations in future seasons, but for now we encourage you to make as long a series of kills as possible and get the best bonuses! We think this idea will seem devilishly seductive to you.

Season 19 Decorative Rewards

Starting with Season 17, we're giving players the chance to unlock rewards that they might have previously missed out on. So, in the 19th season campaign, the rewards that were originally available in the 7th season will open.

We also understand that the participants of previous seasons want something new. You as rewards for completing the Season Journey, first introduced in Season 17, players will be able to receive immediately two decorative gifts. Admire the frame for the “Portrait of Valor” and the angelic greedy goblin (pet).

In addition to the helmet and shoulder pads of the exclusive Conqueror Set, players will find a new set of portrait frames in the style of the snowy and gloomy Eternal Forest. And if you're too lonely and cold on the road, Pierce's ardent Obsession will be the perfect companion for you... if only it stops terrorizing the local fauna.

Season Camp Rewards

If you've been good at slaying demons in past seasons and have completed all of the Conqueror objectives each time, then you should probably have enough extra stash tabs. In addition, you can open up to five cache tabs - one per season for completing all the tasks of the conqueror:

  • Guardian of Sanctuary: Clear a portal with a level 70 hero on Torment XIII difficulty in less than 5 minutes.

Description of the update

Seasons

  • Developer comment: One of the most common themes that came up in player feedback regarding Season 18's buff was that the Will of the Church of the Three perk was sometimes broken. In Season 19, we changed our approach to developing bonuses and took it to the next level: we experimented with new elements of game mechanics, introduced the possibility of increasing the power of heroes, and made fights more unpredictable. The gameplay will be somewhat similar to Pandemonius, and players will need to decide if they want to get a bonus for a specific kill streak or if they want to constantly destroy opponents and keep the effect going. (Most importantly, realizing the ultimate kill streak bonus in Greater Rifts, for example, will be tricky.) The rewards for longer kill streaks are getting more powerful, and we can't wait to see how players can put them to good use.
  • Added buff for Season 19, Season of Eternal Confrontation.
    • Pandemonius
      • Players will have a cumulative effect throughout the season that will last longer if the hero deals damage or kills monsters within 5 seconds of each other.
      • Each effect increases movement speed by 0.05 and damage dealt by 0.1%. The maximum increase per 1000 stacks increases movement speed and damage by 50% and 100%, respectively.
      • In addition, after making a certain number of kills in a row, the player releases a special power that deals damage, which depends on the level of the hero and the level of difficulty or the level of the great portal.
        • 15 Kills: Explosive chickens stalk and destroy targets.
        • 30 Kills: A large Ice Nova freezes enemies.
        • 50 Kills: Corpses fall from the sky.
        • 100 kills: the hero creates five huge energy vortices.
        • 150 Kills: Dark Geysers form under the feet of enemies.
        • 200 Kills: Treasure chests fall from the sky.
        • 300 Kills: Ring of Fire sets everything in the area on fire.
        • 400 kills: Meteorites fall from the sky.
        • 500 Kills: Angels descend from Heaven and help you on the battlefield.
          • Angels no longer destroy Portal Guardians in one hit.
        • 1000 kills: ???
      • Effects are tracked for the entire group as a whole: only one effect can be active at a time, regardless of the number of players in the group.
  • Players who complete the Season Journey will receive two new rewards: the Portrait of Valor frame and the Angelic Greedy Goblin (pet).
  • Embrace Lilith: This exclusive pair of decorative wings will be given to all players who purchase virtual tickets. Long live Lilith! (Only in the PC version.)

Items

  • Developer comment: In Update 2.6.7, we're starting to introduce new class sets for all heroes in Diablo III. In Season of Courage, we'll be focusing on two classes that embody the power of light and deal their respective damage types. We are talking about a crusader and a monk. You'll also see the return of old and new Legendary modifiers that will pair well with the new class sets. We conducted a survey among players to find out which skills are least used in current options development. We hope you want to evaluate new gaming features as much as we do. Additional class sets will appear in future updates, so if your class hasn't received updates yet, don't worry - they will definitely appear!
  • You will also notice that a lot of barbarian items have been changed in this update. While we'll be adding a new class set for the Barbarian at a later date, we've heard the war cry of the Barbarian fan base and made a number of changes based on extensive player feedback. While not all offers were created equal, a detailed analysis of the players helped us decide on the changes implemented in the update. Thanks to the players who kindly and constructively shared their thoughts with us. Your help was very useful to us, and we are grateful to you for your thoughtful and well-thought-out suggestions!
  • New Crusader Item Set: Aegis of Courage
    • 2-Piece Set Bonus: Electrocuting Arrows from Hand of Heaven have a chance to cause Hand of Heaven to be cast again. Hand of Heaven attacks empower the Crusader, increasing the damage of Heaven's Fury by 100% for 5 seconds. No more than 3 of these effects can be applied at the same time, while their indicators are multiplied.

    • 6-Piece Bonus: Increases Hand of Heaven damage and Heaven's Fury by 10,000% 20,000%.
    • Developer comment: Thank you for your feedback and for participating in PTR update 2.6.7 testing! We decided to tackle Heaven's Hand because of the players' requests and because we feel it has conceptual value and adds depth to the gameplay. Certain stats will be adjusted in the future as needed, but overall we're happy to be able to add a bundle to the game that many players would love to use!
  • New Monk Item Set: Standard of Justice
    • 2-Piece Bonus: Slashing Wind gains the effects of all runes and the hero's movement speed is increased by 5% per stack of Slashing Wind.

    • Developer comment: Thank you for your feedback and for participating in PTR update 2.6.7 testing! Many Monk fans have asked for more damage reduction options and better integration of Hurricane Rush into the class's skill system. We hope that with the changes, players will be able to implement a more resilient and attractive development option that allows them to grind hordes of vile demons into dust at the expense of the sacred power of justice.
  • The light in the darkness
    • Hand of Heaven has a 100% chance to trigger twice.
    • Increases the damage dealt by Hand of Heaven by .
  • eye of the storm
    • New legendary property: When Slashing Wind hits only one enemy, its damage is increased by 100%.

  • wind of vengeance
    • Whipping Wind can stack up to 6-7 10 times.
    • Additional legendary property: Slashing Wind damage is increased by 250-300% 600-800%.

  • Chantodo's resolve
    • Decreased the damage bonus of Shattering Wave that increases with attack speed.

The developers of Diablo 3 have announced the end date of the current season and the start date of the new one - the 11th season will end on October 20th, and the 12th will begin after a three-week break, on November 9th.

So the next season in Diablo III is coming to an end, Nephalem. It's time to take stock and prepare for the new season.

If you are participating in a season for the first time, then you probably do not yet know what happens at the end of the season with your items, heroes, and accumulated progress. Calm! Now we will explain everything and tell you what awaits you during the change of seasons.

change of seasons

Those who have already participated in the seasons will confirm that there is no shortage of gold or loot during the season, and it is a pleasure to earn improvement levels. So what will happen to your progress and all the hard-won gains once the season is over? In short, you have practically nothing to lose.

Below is a list of rewards earned during the season that your out-of-season heroes can inherit.

Heroes

  • Seasonal heroes will become out-of-season and will be converted to either normal or heroic mode. You won't need to delete existing heroes to make room, as seasonal heroes will keep their slots. You will also be able to use the "seasonal respawn" and turn any out-of-season hero into a seasonal tier 1 character.

Gold

  • Out-of-season heroes will receive all the gold accumulated during the season.

Experience and Levels of Excellence

  • Out-of-Season modes will carry over all XP gained by Heroes after reaching level 70, while the number of Enhancement Levels earned during the Season and other modes will not directly stack.
  • For example, if your seasonal hero reaches cultivation level 300, and your out-of-season heroes have cultivation level 400, the result of the transfer of experience will not be level 700 for out-of-season heroes. This is because the amount of experience required to reach higher levels is constantly increasing.

blood shards

  • Like Gold, those Blood Shards that your Seasonal Heroes have accumulated will be transferred to the Out-of-Season Modes.
  • If your out-of-season heroes have already reached the blood shard limit, then it will be possible to exceed it for a while. You can spend the shards as you wish, however, you will not be able to collect new ones until your stocks exceed the limit.

Items

  • All the equipment of the hero, as well as items in his bag, will go with him to the off-season mode.
  • Items stored in the Seasonal Stash will be mailed to your non-Seasonal Heroes. Any of your heroes can get them. Items will be stored in the mail for 30 days from the moment you first log into the game after the end of the season. To access items in your mailbox, simply launch the game and click on the mail icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Artisan progress and sketches

  • If you managed to develop artisans during the season to a higher level than in off-season modes, then their progress will be carried over.
  • All sketches that were obtained during the season and that non-seasonal heroes do not have will also be saved.

Shared stash

  • Any Shared Stash slots and tabs you purchase during the Season will become available to non-Seasonal Heroes if they haven't previously unlocked them.

Achievements

  • All achievements and data on the extent to which the conditions for obtaining them are met are transferred to off-season modes. This process happens automatically, you do not need to wait for the end of the season. Also, throughout the season, the accumulated achievement points are calculated.

Kanai Cube

  • During the Off-Season, all Legendary modifiers obtained with the Cube by a Seasonal character will be able to be used by Out-of-Season Heroes as well.
  • With the start of the new season, Seasonal Heroes will no longer be able to use Legendary modifiers that were retrieved with Kanai's Cube in the previous Season or out of Season.

Season 11 Rewards

  • All players who managed to develop at least one hero to level 70 during Season 11 will receive items to transmogrify pants and boots. The player will receive these items at his disposal as soon as one of his seasonal heroes reaches level 70. All characters on the account will be able to use them - both seasonal and off-season (it is not necessary to wait for the end of the season). To use the new items, simply talk to the fortune teller Miriam and open the "Transmogrification" tab.
  • In addition, completing chapters in the Season Journey will reward players with portrait frames and a pet.

Please note that all heroes, rewards, and progress will carry over to the appropriate off-season mode (Normal or Heroic). Any items, Gold, Enhancement XP, Achievements, Crafting Experience, Sketches, Shared Stash Space, and Blood Shards earned by Seasonal Heroes in Normal will be available to non-Seasonal Heroes also created in Normal after the season ends. And whatever was earned by your Seasonal Heroes on Heroic Difficulty will be transferred to your non-Seasonal Heroes on Heroic Difficulty.

Season 11 Conquests

Unlike other rewards, conquests will not carry over at the end of Season 11 (because they are not available to off-season heroes). This also means that the conquests earned will not affect the amount of achievement points in off-season modes.

Season 11 Leaderboards

As soon as the season comes to an end, all leaderboards will be reset to zero, and you will not be able to increase your rating until the start of the new season. The rating tables of the previous season can be viewed in the game itself. As soon as it starts new season, you can switch between the leaderboards of the previous and current seasons using the drop-down menu.

Don't forget that you can also check out the season leaderboards!

Out-of-season Greater Rift leaderboards will also be reset at the end of the season. However, you will be able to immediately play as non-seasonal heroes (including former seasonal ones) in the current era, so you don't have to wait for the new season to start.

End of season 11 and start of season 12

During the off-season break, you will be able to sort out the rewards received and see your data in the leaderboards. A good reason to just celebrate your success and hunt for items in off-season modes.

Season 11 will end in the regions listed below at exactly the times shown.

  • North America: Saturday, October 21 at 03:00 Moscow time.
  • Europe: Friday, October 20 at 18:00 Moscow time.
