Vladimir Mayakovsky is widely known primarily as the poet of the revolution. This is not surprising - for a long hour his poems were a kind of manifesto of the Soviet RF. The poet lived in a very difficult hour, an hour of social upheaval and great changes in society. His work was determined both by the significant events of the early 20th century and the literary development of this period.

In the work of Vladimir Mayakovsky, I am amazed by the genuine sincerity of this man. She is visible both in his political poetry and in his love lyrics. But nevertheless, Mayakovsky-lyricist attracts me more, therefore, in my essay about what I like in his work, I want to dwell first of all on his lyrical works.
In the poem "A Cloud in Pants", written by Mayakovsky in 1915, we see the feelings of a young talented poet who fell in love with the beautiful Maria. But this great feeling brings the hero of the poem not joy, but suffering:

Remember?

You said:

"Jack London,

passion", -

and I saw one:

you are Gioconda,

to be stolen!

And they stole it.

Who stole Mary? In the poem there is no obvious rival, the one whom Mary loves. But there is a much stronger eternal rival of all times in it - this is money and future well-being:

You entered

sharp, like "here!",

Torment of suede gloves,

said:

"You know -

i'm getting married".

In my opinion, these lines very well convey both the awkwardness of such a situation, and the bitter disappointment of the young poet, who could only offer his beloved his own feelings. And they turned out to be unnecessary. Therefore, it is not surprising that in the preface to the poem we meet the angry cry "Down with your love" - love that can be bought.

In this poem, I especially like these lines that convey the power of the poet's feelings:

Who is speaking?

Your son is perfectly ill!

He has the fervor of the heart.

Tell the sisters, Lyuda and Olya, he has nowhere to go

In Mayakovsky's love lyrics, as well as in his work as a whole, I like the author's metaphors that strike fantasies. For example, as in the poem "The Spine Flute":

I pulled my soul over an abyss, juggling with words,

Swung over her.

I'll play the flute tonight

On your own spine.

Vladimir Mayakovsky knows how to create amazing images, striking the reader with the unusualness of his vision of the world. For example, in the poem "Night" he uses an unexpected comparison, likening the illuminated windows of a night city to a player's hand with a fan of cards. The image of the city-player arises in the reader's mind:

Crimson and white thrown back and crumpled

Handfuls of ducats were thrown into green,

And to the black palms of the running windows

Burning yellow cards were dealt.

Returning to the love lyrics of Vladimir Mayakovsky, I would like to note that the poet experienced truly deep feelings. In order to convey their completeness, the poet used the words-giants: "huge love", "love". He cannot feel

I will pull out my soul

trample.

So big .-

and bloody ladies, like a banner ...

And what warmth are these lines of the poet imbued with:

Give at least

cover with the last tenderness

your outgoing step.

In a letter to L. Brik Mayakovsky wrote: "Love is life, this is the main thing. Poems and deeds and everything else unfold from it. Love is the heart of everything. If it stops working, everything else dies, becomes superfluous, unnecessary. But if the heart works, it cannot but manifest itself in this in everything. " It seems to me that these words most accurately express the meaning of Mayakovsky's love lyrics. In her - herself

Answering the question of the composition, I will also dwell on the satire of Vladimir Mayakovsky. I like it for its sharpness, as well as the accuracy of hitting "fists and bureaucrats, fools and sycophants." The lines of the poem "Hymn to Bribe" are permeated with deep irony:

And there is nothing to justify - go and take it.

The journalistic scum will cease.

Like rams, you have to cut and shave them.

Why be ashamed in your homeland?

This poem, written by Mayakovsky in 1915, is striking in its relevance. No matter how much I want to admit it, it will probably remain topical for a long time, because "everything is in this place, from the junior janitor to the one who is woven in gold."

Got from Mayakovsky and officials, who, like Griboyedov's Famusov, reduced their official duties to signing papers. In the poem "Factory of Bureaucrats" Mayakovsky writes:

Anything

with a signature,

And don't understand:

Own auntie

appoints Roman

A mortal will sign himself

sentence.

These and many other satirical works of Vladimir Mayakovsky - "cavalry of witticisms" directed against the worst social phenomena - make us smile and think.

Probably everyone has some favorite lines of this or that poet. What else do I like about Mayakovsky? These lines that have become widely known:

Listen!

After all, if the stars are lit -

means - someone needs it?

So - it is necessary that every evening at least one star lights up over the rooftops!

Listen!

Vladimir Mayakovsky is the greatest poet of the twentieth century. He proved himself to be an extraordinary playwright, satirist, film director, screenwriter and artist. Unfortunately, not many people like his works. They seem incomprehensible to them, which is very sad. I believe that Vladimir puts his heart and soul into his work. After reading the works of Mayakovsky, I realized that this poet is close to me in spirit.

I like Mayakovsky because he says what he thinks. This person does not hide his emotions and feelings. He is extremely sincere. And this sincerity can be seen both in the poet's love lyrics and in political poetry. I admire his works.

The poem "A Cloud in Pants" describes the mental suffering of the lyrical hero. He is waiting for Mary to come to him. He begins to think that "candelabra are laughing and laughing" over him. After a while, the girl comes. Maria says she is getting married. The lyrical hero pretends to be calm:

You see - how calm!

Like a pulse

dead man!

Comparing his condition with the pulse of the deceased, the lyrical hero kills the hope for love, for a happy future. Unhappy love forces him to rethink life values and change priorities.

In the poem "Nate!" the lyric hero is outraged by the fact that people treat literature as a consumer. He addresses the crowd, tries to provoke it. The hero opposes himself to this society, because he is “a waste of priceless words”. In addition, the image of a butterfly appears in the work, which testifies to the poet's pure soul. The author claims that the crowd will soon turn into a "hundred-headed louse", which "bristle its legs" and "in galoshes and without galoshes" will perch on this butterfly, but this is a very fragile creature that should not be touched. The lyrical hero does not intend to compete with the crowd. He allows himself to "spit joyfully" in the face of the crowd, because for them art is just an excuse to have fun.

In the work "Could you?" the lyrical hero "smeared the map of everyday life", that is, changed reality. He sees the world differently. The hero is able to discern "on a platter of jelly the slanting cheekbones of the ocean", for him drainpipes are like a flute. At the end of the poem, the author challenges the crowd by telling them:

Nocturne play

On the downpipe flute?

V. Mayakovsky is a very talented person. At first glance, this man may seem rude. However, in his heart he was easily injured, and this ostentatious rudeness served him as protection from others. His works are as sincere as he is. That is why I really like Mayakovsky.

He continues to publish materials to help school graduates. For students of the natural and mathematical direction, an essay topic on the work of Mayakovsky is offered, which requires a personal assessment of the poet's read works. The teachers of our development center have developed options for the disclosure of this topic. The volume of the proposed material far exceeds the standards of the final essay, which makes it possible for each student to choose from the article those provisions that correspond to their understanding of the topic

An introduction to an essay can be like this:

 1. Reading the lyrics of V. Mayakovsky, especially of the early period of creativity, is not an easy task. The poet is unusual in everything. The style of communication with the reader is surprising. This is such a "lyrical impudence" of a young overthrower of the traditions of Russian classical poetry, which is close to "a young man who enters into life." Attracted by the unusualness of the figurative structure, its poetic syntax. And what is it worth reading the lines, divided into rhythmic fragments! The poems sound bright and modern. Written on different topics and for different reasons, they are close to me with an active attitude to life, the desire to change it for the better, to tell about what worries. And to do it passionately, sincerely, fervently and young.

Or like this:

 1. The creativity of Vladimir Mayakovsky leaves no one indifferent. His poetry is either accepted unconditionally or rejected. The polarity of the readers' views is a guarantee of the poet's bright, original talent, which brought new themes to literature. They demanded a change in the traditional lexical and syntactic structure of lyric works. The novelty of the form and content of Mayakovsky's futuristic poetry found a response not only among his contemporaries, but also among his “respected comrades of descendants”.

In the main part, we propose to analyze the poems that are closest to the young man in terms of topics and problems. Graduates understand his expression when expressing feelings and the variety of intonation. The choice is yours.

 • Mayakovsky's early poetic experiments are close to me for their emotional intensity, amazing play of metaphors and neologisms. And most importantly - accurately conveyed the state of a lonely person in a crowd. The pain of the author is touched by the fact that his lyrical hero remains not understood and not accepted by those who “perched on the butterfly of the poetic heart”, rejecting “the verses of the boxes”. These lines contain an exacerbated youthful reaction to the world around, which is inhabited by people who do not accept the poet's attitude, lonely, "like the last eye of a person walking towards the blind." He addresses them in my beloved poem "Listen!" They don't hear! And everything in this work is close and dear to me. Especially lyrical hero, ready, "bursting into a blizzard of midday dust", to burst into God with a request for a star, because humanity (among whom she is the only one!) Will not endure "starless torment." To some, the stars seem to be "spitters". But it's not about them! There are those for whom it is important "that there must be a star." How many of us are there? Little! But for the sake of such people, the hero ascends to God, “breaks down”, “bursts in”, “fears that he’s late”, “cries”, “kisses a sinewy hand,” “swears,” and then “walks anxious, but calmly outwardly. And all - for others! Not for myself ... I think it is so important that among us there are those who are ready to do the impossible. What would we do without them?
 • We are now going through a period of growing up when it seems to us that we are surrounded by a solid wall of misunderstanding. This can be clearly seen in the early Mayakovsky, a budding poet. There is a "I", a real "cloud in pants", "priceless words mot and squander." And "Not-I". These others are numerous and hostile. And they are indifferent, "like a surviving lackey on a greasy couch." The poet's loud voice is addressed to them: "I will tease a flap about a bloody heart, I scoff my fill, impudent and caustic." Even the titles of early poems sound harsh, like a resounding slap in the face to a hostile world: "Here!", "You!" Daring, insulting? Sure. But we understand that the reasons for his rudeness are in the deep loneliness of a person capable of suffering, experiencing a feeling of real pain, invisible and inaudible ...

Maybe they will understand who will come tomorrow? This remains the only consolation: “Coming people! Who you are? Here I am, all the pain and bruise. I will bequeath to you the fruit garden of my great soul. " My peers, if they do not find a response in the immediate environment, can go into the virtual world, traveling through which they meet people close in spirit. But, alas, they are also virtual ... I reread the early Mayakovsky and understand: “a young man entering life” is not easy at all times.

 • The poem "Could you?" written by the poet in 1913. This is one of his first works. The lyrical hero is bored with gray everyday life, and therefore he decisively transforms them, "splashing paint from a glass." On a platter with jelly, "oblique cheekbones of the ocean" appear, and on a typical signboard of a fish store, the lyrical hero "read ... the calls of new lips." Everyday life was filled with poetic details and sparkled with new colors. And it sounded so convincing that we also wanted to join the holiday of disobedience and transformation. But there is a doubt: can we see a flute in a curved drainpipe and play a nocturne on it? The title of the poem sounded a challenge to which one would like to answer: "Let's try." This short poetic sketch is reminiscent of a musical passage, each new note of which is filled with the energy of changing life, which makes a person happy. And her composer is a poet who overheard his own melody in the everyday life of a modern city.

 • The harshness with which the author addresses the reader in most poems is deceiving, since it hides the poet's kind heart and constant willingness to help. About this - "Good attitude to horses", the most touching work of Mayakovsky. The history of the horse is more than a story about one incident on a Moscow street, "shod with the wind" and "shod with ice." This is an occasion to tell about yourself, about what helped the lyrical hero to overcome the “animal melancholy” with which he goes through life. Sound images that organize the beginning of the poem help to feel the author's mood. “Rob. Coffin. Rough ”, - hooves are tapping, bringing alarming notes into the prelude of events. What happened? The horse falls. The situation described by the poet is possible at all times. Immediately “behind the onlooker, the onlooker huddled together” ... As if today passers-by rushed to take a selfie to post it on Youtube. I understand and feel close to the feelings of a lonely person among people who came to simply "flare" their trousers on Kuznetsky Most. "Laughter rang and tinkled," and from the horse's eyes "rolls down the face for a drop of droplets."

But then the horse rises and, believing in his strength, again feels like a "red foal". The ability of the lyric hero to find words that help her get on her feet and return to the stall, because “it was worth living and working was worth it” is amazing. It saddens that only he was capable of active compassion. Why is this poem so dear to me? "We are all a bit of a horse, each of us is a horse in his own way" ... A good attitude to a horse is a good attitude to people.

 • The poem "An extraordinary adventure that happened with Vladimir Mayakovsky in the summer at the dacha" surprises with both form and content. It is dedicated to tea drinking on Akulovaya Gora. Here are just a poet sitting at the table and a golden-headed luminary who has come to the poet for tea. The conversation at the samovar seems fantastic only at first glance. It turns out that they have a common goal: to illuminate the "gray trash world". Therefore, in a sincere conversation with the poet, the luminary, blazing in "one hundred and forty suns," begins to stream "strange yas." Why not? “You and I, two of us, comrade,” united by the common goal of daily work. It is not easy to “shine always, shine everywhere”, but it is impossible otherwise. This is the true purpose of the poet and poetry. On such a difficult topic, the poet talked with the reader, filling the space of the poem with metaphors, neologisms, and unusual word-formation models. His "self-styled words" gave his lines new colors. They instill in us optimism, the desire to live and create. The poem reveals the formula of life that everyone should live: "Shine - and no nails, here is my slogan - and the sun!" I would like to join these final lines and, after the poet, feel the joy of life and work in a world where the sun is a comrade in a common cause.
 • Let's try to think about one more poem. It also has an element of a fantastic transformation of reality. The "port, burning like molten summer, turned around and entered the comrade" Theodore Nette ". An ocean-going steamer in "lifebuoy glasses" majestically enters the harbor and becomes ... animate. The poetic device - personification - carries a great semantic load, helping to introduce us to a wonderful person and friend of the poet, Theodore Nette. All night long he could argue about poetry and life, not for a moment forgetting about the difficult mission of a diplomatic courier. The clash of the images of Nette the man who died in the line of duty and the Nette the steamer brings the poem to reflections on heroism and human immortality. We understand that if a person has managed to find something more significant in life than his own existence, time has won. Mayakovsky's admiration for the feat is accompanied by an awareness of the severity of his time and the inevitability of painful losses. Otherwise, it will not come to a high community of people living "as a single human community." The poem firmly and confidently sounded admiration for a person who managed to rise to achievement.

Conclusion

Once upon a time, at the beginning of the last century, the poet literally burst into literature, offering the reader new topics and ways of revealing them. And he did it boldly, boldly, unusually. He guessed what a young man was feeling when he was entering life, and conveyed this attitude, touching the strings of the soul of his contemporaries and "respected comrades of descendants." From today I would like to assure the poet that his poetry has stepped far beyond the limits of his era. Therefore, Mayakovsky remains in the memory of readers forever. And in mine too. “Mayakovsky is the first new man of the new world, the first to come. Whoever did not understand this, did not understand anything about him, ”- this is the conclusion summed up by M. Tsvetaeva, whose assessment of the poet's work seems to me very accurate.

V. Mayakovsky is one of the amazing masters of the artistic word. Widely known as the poet of the revolution. Mayakovsky was constantly looking for new poetic solutions that would correspond to the spirit of the era of great times.

Why among hundreds of poets of the twentieth century. single out the name of Vladimir Mayakovsky? Was Mayakovsky really so brilliant? And what can our contemporaries like in his work? I think, having examined in more detail the peculiarities of Mayakovsky's work, it will be possible to determine what all the same Mayakovsky may be interested in modern youth. “I'm a poet. This is interesting. I am writing about this, ”Mayakovsky himself writes in his autobiography.

I am convinced that Vladimir Mayakovsky simply cannot but amaze people with his work. The greatest uniqueness in his poetry is introduced by the poet's ambiguous rude and searching character, his personal and social loneliness, as well as the style of his creative thought. But despite the rudeness in his works, Mayakovsky's heart was fragile, like a butterfly.

I fully support the work of V. Mayakovsky. How can you not love his poems !? For example: "Letter to Tatyana Yakovleva", where Mayakovsky peculiarly confesses his feelings for this woman, who, as a result, refuses him, but Mayakovsky does not give up "I will take you anyway." The poem "Left March", which is a vivid example of propaganda poetry of the time, where Mayakovsky appears as a true revolutionary. Even after reading one of them, you will not remain indifferent.

The peculiarity in the work of Mayakovsky is that he did not strive for a lack of sound, as other poets of the twentieth century did, but on the contrary creates poems in such a way that they grind, cut the ear. Such rudeness of the poet contributes to the creation of a special image of the lyrical hero-poet, the leader of the street crowd, the singer of the urban lower classes. Now I know that in the work of V. Mayakovsky I am attracted by everything: his manner of writing, feelings conveyed from poet to reader, emotionality, "loudness" of these poems, the way of rhyming that he used, and kindness, yes, you heard right, exactly kindness, which was hidden somewhere inside the "whopper", and which Mayakovsky carefully concealed from the world.
