12.1 Before starting the compressor, after completing the work provided for in section 2, it is necessary:

A) check the oil level in the crankcase using the oil gauge, top up if necessary;

b) turn on the compressor in automatic mode;

When the pressure in the air collector is below the minimum (start pressure) according to the pressure switch, the compressor should start, a light signal is issued to the control panel;

12.2 Compressor maintenance during operation (every shift)

When servicing the compressor every shift, you must:

A) control the oil level in the crankcase, which should not be below the bottom mark on the oil indicator; add oil to the crankcase through a funnel with a mesh into the compressor breather;

b) as the filter elements (cloth) of the air filters become dirty, they must be washed from dirt with any cleaning solution;

V) every 4-5 hours of continuous operation of the compressor, perform a purge by pressing the “Purge” button on the control panel;

G) If the compressor stops due to emergency protection, the maintenance personnel, having found out the cause of the malfunction, should flash a signal by turning off the power to the control panel. To carry out troubleshooting work, it is necessary to turn off the power to the compressor at the distribution board;

d) monitor pressure using pressure gauges. The pressure in the 1st stage should be 0.17-0.22 MPa (1.7-2.2 kgf/cm2), the pressure in the 2nd stage - 0.78 MPa (8 kgf/cm2);

e) monitor the tightness of the connections and, if leaks are detected, eliminate them; however, tightening the nuts and bolts while the compressor is running is not allowed;

and) The air collector must be ventilated at least 2 times a day; V winter time the air collector must be purged before each long stop of the compressor to prevent moisture from freezing in it;

h) check daily safety valves by forcing them open under pressure. After closing, the valve must remain completely sealed;

12.4 Stopping the compressor
