VIA Gra is the most successful female pop group of the 2000s, founded by Konstantin Meladze and Dmitry Kostyuk. Its feature was the frequent change of participants. For 19 years, the composition has changed 19 times! Singers one more beautiful than the other came, became famous and left for the sake of a solo career. We restored the order of all the lineups and found out what happened to the ex-members of the legendary team.

First composition

Initially, the group was created for Alena Vinnitskaya from Kiev. By 2000, she was already quite a popular person in Ukraine, she wrote songs, worked as a presenter on Biz-TV. A brunette Nadezhda Granovskaya (Meikher), a native of the Ukrainian village of Zbruchovka, was paired with the blonde Vinnitsa. The girl from childhood was engaged in folk dances. After graduating from a pedagogical school, she worked as a dancer in clubs. The debut video "Attempt No. 5" immediately rose to the top positions of the music charts and became a kind of "business card" of the duo.

In the fall of 2001, the girls released their debut album of 11 songs.

In early 2002, Granovskaya announced that she was going on maternity leave. In her place, they took a professional model from Leningrad, Tatiana Nainik. Before the new line-up had time to start work, it was decided to turn the duet into a trio. The third participant was a TV presenter from Kyiv Anna Sedokova. With her arrival, the group acquired its classic look: blonde, brunette and brown-haired, which was diligently maintained for all subsequent years.

In May 2002, the video clip “Stop! Stop! Stop!”, where the leading vocal parts for the first time since the creation of the group were performed not only by Alena, but also by the newcomer Anna.

On May 23, the trio received the Ovation Award as the Best Performer of Youth Dance Music.

In the expanded composition of VIA Gra, she gave several concerts and the producers came to the conclusion that one of the brunettes was superfluous. Tatyana Naynik had to leave the team.

After leaving, she did not try to develop a solo career very successfully. In 2008, the singer was diagnosed with "anxiety-depressive disorder" and she has to constantly struggle with this disease. IN personal life Nynik is fine. She married the son of Margarita Terekhova Alexander and gave birth to a daughter.

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Dnepropetrovsk Institute of the Railway Institute. For the first time she sang together with VIA Gra as a wish from the audience during the tour of the group in June 2002. She was remembered and invited to the casting. Upon learning that Vera was a fellow countrywoman of the Secretary General of the USSR, the producers suggested that she take the pseudonym "Brezhneva".

The composition, which was formed with her arrival, is traditionally called "golden", that is, the most successful and fruitful. Previously, such a term simply did not exist in Russian pop music, and the concept of “golden composition” took root on our stage precisely thanks to the VIA Gra trio.

During this period, the group received its first Muz TV awards, entered the world market, recorded singles with Valery Meladze - “There is no more attraction”, “Ocean and three rivers”, released a video “Do not leave me, darling!”, which lasted for on the first lines of music ratings for more than 7 months and recognized as the best Russian video of the decade.

In 2004, Anna Sedokova became the wife of football player Valentin Belkevich and left the team, but soon returned to the stage for a solo career. Today she is actively acting in films and gloss, has released three solo albums, one brings up two daughters and a son. Moreover, the singer broke up with the father of the youngest child immediately after giving birth. Svetlana Loboda from Kiev was invited to replace Sedokova. The girl sang professionally early childhood, from the age of 15 she studied in the specialty "pop vocal" at the Kyiv Variety and Circus Academy.

As part of the group, Loboda starred in the video "Biology" and the film musical "Sorochinsky Fair".

Loboda stayed in the group for only 4 months and after leaving she began to actively build a solo career. Today she is an Honored Artist of Ukraine, a laureate of various music awards and one of the most successful singers on our stage. The singer is not married, she has two daughters.

Svetlana Loboda was replaced by Albina Dzhanabaeva, who previously worked as a backing vocalist for Valery Meladze and, as it turned out a few years later, the mother of their common child. Albina was born in Volgograd. She studied at the department of pop vocals at the school. Gnesins. After graduating from college, she worked in Korea, sang the part of Snow White in the musical of the same name and broke the contract when Meladze offered her a place in his team.

In this line-up, the group, together with Valery Meladze, received the Golden Gramophone for the joint single No More Attraction and sang one of their best songs, Diamonds.

Three months later, it became obvious that Christina did not fit into the team, largely due to the fact that she looks younger than her groupmates. The girl had to leave. After leaving, she continued her modeling career, and in 2009 she won the title of Miss Ukraine Universe.

Kristina was replaced by Olga Koryagina, who was previously kept as a backup. Olga was born in Nikolaev. At the age of 15, she won the Miss Black Sea 2001 beauty contest and worked as a model. With her participation, the clips “Flower and Knife” and “L. M. L.

In July 2007, VIA Gra again became a duet, Vera Brezhneva left her.

She released several singles, played a small role in the series Hold Me Tight.

In August of the same year, they shot a video for the song "Crazy".

In November 2011, Granovskaya finally left the project. Today she is happily married to businessman Mikhail Urzhumtsev, has three children, and sings solo.

In her place came another graduate of the Ukrainian "Star Factory-3", "Miss Universe Ukraine - 2006", from Kiev Santa Dimopoulos. The new member has been professionally engaged in vocals, ballroom dancing, fitness since childhood and even won the World Fitness Championship in Thailand.

The presentation of the new composition on television took place during a musical break on the program “What? Where? When? ”, where the group presented the composition with the song “A Day Without You”.

This line-up also released the video “Hello, Mom!”, which gained more than a million views on YouTube in a week.

He became the only one in VIA Gre for Dimopoulos. In October, she left the project.

Sixteenth composition

The group performed as a duet Eva - Albina until the closure of VIA Gra was announced in January 2013.

Together with Konstantin Meladze, ex-participants Vinnitskaya, Granovskaya, Sedokova, Dzhanabaeva, Bagaudinova and Dimopoulos selected new girls. Vera Brezhneva became the host of the show.

As for Eva and Albina, like most of the participants, they managed to realize themselves outside the project. Bushmina began to sing under the pseudonym Layah, married businessman Dmitry Lanovoy, and gave birth to a daughter.

Albina in 2014 gave Valery Meladze a second son. By this time, the musician had already divorced his first wife. Today, the singer performs solo, shoots videos and plays in the theater.

On October 25, 2013, the show determined three winners. In the final, the girls presented the composition "Truce", which became the hallmark of the new VIA Gra.

Erika Herceg was born in the village of Malaya Dobron. While studying at the Lyceum, she sang in the church choir. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Management. She became famous for the fact that for the sake of her modeling career, she got rid of 30 kg in 8 months. Before joining the group, Erica starred in a candid photo shoot for Playboy magazine.

The second participant Anastasia Kozhevnikova is from Yuzhnoukrainsk. Before joining the group, she studied in the second year of the Kyiv National University with a degree in management.

Misha Romanova (Natalya Mogilenets) was born in Kherson. She won prizes at children's music competitions many times. She graduated from the Kyiv Variety and Circus Academy. Misha's stage debut took place in Gorlovka, where she sang a duet with Max Barskikh.

According to the results of "Tophit-2014", the updated VIA Gra entered the top ten most rotated teams on the air. In June 2015, the group received the golden plate of Muz-TV for the eighth time, becoming the most successful pop group of the award.

She took part in blind auditions in the show "Voice", but the teams were recruited before she went on stage.

VIA Gra will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2020 creative activity. The words "she sang in VIA Gre" became a kind of quality mark of female attractiveness. Almost all the ex-soloists continued their careers after leaving and were not lost in the open spaces of show business. Therefore, we will not worry about the fact that the team changes too often. After all, there is never too much beauty and talent.

The VIA Gra group is a real pop phenomenon. Its composition is constantly changing (for 17 years, 16 girls managed to light up in the team), but this does not at all reduce its popularity!

There were only two girls in the initial composition of VIA Gra: the blonde Alena and the brunette Nadia.

Alena Vinnitskaya was the first to leave the group. According to the singer herself, she outgrew the level of a girl group and decided to take up more serious music.

However, the skills to seduce men have not gone away. From time to time, Alena pampers her fans by posting very spicy pictures on Instagram.

Although now Nadezhda has nothing to do with VIA Groy, she still attracts the eyes of men with a magnet.

In April 2002, Nadezhda became pregnant and was forced to leave the team for a while. It was then that VIA Gra turned into a trio - the red-haired Anna Sedokova appeared in the group.

Anna Sedokova is not without reason considered a member of the "golden line-up" of the group, the pictures from her Instagram confirm this.

The pregnant Nadia herself was temporarily replaced by Tatyana Naynik. Although Tanya stayed in the group for only a few months, she managed to be remembered by the fans thanks to the video for the song “Stop! Stop! Stop!".

Tatyana's Instagram is dominated by family photos, and spicy shots appear only as rare exceptions.

In 2003, Alena Vinnitskaya was replaced by Vera Brezhneva at VIA Gro. Perhaps it was she who became the most famous of all the members of this team.

After 4 years, Vera left the group and successfully pursued a solo career. However, her name is still associated with VIA Groy.

In 2004, Sedokova was replaced by Svetlana Loboda. She failed to settle down in the group and stayed there for only 4 months.

But Svetlana's solo career turned out to be mega-successful, and now her songs are heard on all radio stations.

The next redhead was Albina Dzhanabaeva. Her name is associated with a huge period of creativity of the group. It's no joke, Albina stayed there for 9 years!

When Nadezhda Granovskaya left the group for the second time, Christina Kots-Gotlieb took her place. The newcomer did not stay in the team and left after 3 months ...

Christina was replaced by Olga Koryagina. She also didn't last long and only stayed with the team for a year.

Staying in the team was not in vain for Christina - her Instagram is very hot!

After Olga, the place of the brunette was taken by Meseda Bagaudinova.

Now Meseda is pursuing a solo career and skillfully uses social networks to attract attention.

It was not easy for Tatyana Kotova to replace the universal favorite Vera Brezhnev, but she adequately coped with the task assigned to her.

After VIA Gra, Tanya pursued a solo career for some time, and in November 2016 she became one of the members of the Queens trio.

The fourth blonde was Eva Bushmina (her real name is Yana Shvets).

After parting with the project of Konstantin Meladze, she took up a solo career. For some time she performed under the familiar name of Eva Bushmina, and then became a LAYAH singer.

The Ukrainian pop trio "VIA Gra" is the most striking musical project of the 2000s, the success of which could not be surpassed by any female group that later appeared in the domestic show business.

History of creation

The idea of ​​​​creating a group belongs to the Ukrainian businessman, owner of the music channel "Biz-TV" Dmitry Kostyuk. Inspired by the success of the Spice Girls, he invited the composer Konstantin Meladze, well known for his creative alliance with his brother Valery, to launch his own women's project.

The first participant was Alena Vinnitskaya, who then worked as a host on Biz-TV. Two more girls were picked up for her and a trial clip was shot. But the result did not impress the producers, and they continued to search for new participants.

During a tour in Zhytomyr, Valery Meladze met Nadezhda Granovskaya and recommended that his brother pay attention to her. The girl was approved immediately after the first viewing, and the work began to boil. Initially, the group was supposed to be called "Silver", but, looking at the sexy Nadia, the producers decided to call the team "VIA Gra".

Another version says that the name of the group is composed of the names of the first composition. "VI" is the first letters of the surname "Vinnitskaya", "A" - from "Alena", "Gra" - Granovskaya. Also "Gra" can mean "Voice, Joy, Artistry".

The main stages of creativity

In the summer of 2000, a video was shot for the song "Attempt No. 5", which made an incredible sensation. After recording six more songs and shooting a video for the song "Hug Me", the producers and the group began touring.

On December 20, 2000, the first concert of the newly minted group took place in Dnepropetrovsk, which was a resounding success. Girls began to be invited to television and radio, and their performances were invariably accompanied by an enthusiastic reaction from the public. In the fall of 2001, the group's first album, Attempt No. 5, was released and a contract was signed with Sony Music to record five more. Alena and Nadia starred in the New Year's musical for the Inter channel with the participation of leading show business stars, which further added to their popularity.

At the peak of success, Nadezhda suddenly found out that she was pregnant and decided to leave the group. This event came as a complete surprise to Kostyuk and Meladze. They urgently began to look for a similar participant, and soon St. Petersburg model Tatyana Naynik took the place of Granovskaya. She lacked neither Nadia's charisma nor her vocal abilities, so it was decided to strengthen the line-up with the young charming Anya Sedokova, who had a beautiful voice and a luxurious figure. The audience favorably accepted the video for the song “Stop. Stop. Stop ”with new soloists, and the group continued to exist safely.

However, six months later, Granovskaya, barely recovering from childbirth, came to Meladze and tearfully asked to take her back. For a while they performed as a foursome, but later Nainik took up a solo career.

Soon it was the turn of Alena Vinnitskaya to leave the group. The girl was much older than the rest of the participants and felt uncomfortable. And the singer's husband, musician Sergei Bolshoi, was not happy with her participation in Viagra.

Alena quickly picked up a replacement in the person of a resident of Dneprodzerzhinsk Vera Galushko, who was ready for anything to break out of poverty. In record time, the girl has turned from a simple provincial girl into a luxurious sexy beauty that can turn any man's head. Vera came up with the sonorous pseudonym Brezhnev and shot with her participation a video for the song "Don't Leave Me, Darling", which became an absolute hit in 2003.

In the same year, the second album of the group “Stop! Shot”, in support of which a grandiose tour was organized. The success of the album exceeded all expectations of the producers, and it was decided to go global. With the release of the English version of Stop! Stop! Stop!”, the group went on a tour of the countries of the East (Japan, China, Thailand, Hong Kong), which was a resounding success.

The group entered the Western market under the name "Nu Virgos" (which means "Nude Maidens" in translation) in order to avoid lawsuits from the manufacturer of the drug "Viagra".

Satisfied producers were already making plans to conquer Europe and America, when in April 2004 Sedokova unexpectedly announced her pregnancy and left the group a month later. Her departure cost the producers several tens of millions of dollars. The casting was urgently announced, and Ani's place was soon taken by the wayward Svetlana Loboda, who never managed to find a common language with either the participants or the producers.

Four months later, the girl left the group, and Valery Meladze's protege Albina Dzhanabaeva came in her place (as it turned out later, the mother of his illegitimate son, Kostya). The girl was much inferior to the rest of the participants in appearance and the notorious sex appeal, but, having enlisted the support of Valery, she began to restore her own order in the group.

In 2005, serious problems began in the team. His popularity with the departure of Sedakova sharply declined, and soon Vera and Nadia asked for "freedom". Konstantin Meladze did not interfere with them, and he himself was already thinking of closing the project.

Kostyuk still managed to persuade his colleague to continue working, and soon a real leapfrog of the participants began. Over the next seven years, six soloists changed: first, Christina Kots-Gotlieb, then Olga Koryagina, and, finally, Meseda Bagaudinova came to Granovskaya's place. They were looking for a girl to replace Brezhneva for almost a year, all this time VIA Gra was a duet. Finally, in March 2008, the singer Tatyana Kotova joined the group, then Granovskaya returned to the group to replace the departed Bagaudinova. In March 2010, Kotova's place was taken by Eva Bushmina, and a year and a half later, Nadezhda, who again expressed her desire to leave the group, was replaced by Santa Dimopoulos.

After a year in the team, Santa got married. "VIA Gra" again turned into a duet. At the end of 2012, the producer of the group announced the closure of the project. But, as it turned out, the news was a carefully planned PR campaign. Meladze, who by that time had already broken up with Kostyuk, decided to recruit a completely new line-up. To do this, he organized the television show "I want to Meladze", whose mentors and jury members were former participants.

Three girls reached the final - Misha Romanova, Erika Herceg and Nastya Kozhevnikova, who became the new VIA Groy. At first, the girls loudly declared themselves with the songs “Truce” and “I have another”, but over time, interest in them faded. They never managed to repeat the phenomenal success of the “golden” composition of ViaGra, which shone on the stage in the mid-2000s.

Scandals

After Meladze's decision to reform the group and recruit new members in the TV show, a black cat ran between the producers of the group. They could not agree on the rights to the brand. Dmitry Kostyuk decided to open his own project with the same name, since in Russia the rights to the name belonged to him, and in Ukraine the VIA Gra brand was registered on Meladze. As a result, Kostyuk recruited a new line-up, which included Dasha Medovaya, Dasha Rostova and Aina Vilber. In 2015, the group ceased to exist, as Rospatent stopped the protection of Kostyuk's trademark ahead of schedule.
